At 05:30 hours northeast of a primary rebel airfield outpost was a NR assault force of 25 mobile carriers, Delta Vikings. This mission was to cripple and or greatly damage the Rebel Mobile suit hangers and runways along with a few factories to slow down the repair rate It was also to damage or destroy any naval ships in the area fortunately they had them all there. The assault commenced at 08:45 hours and ended at 12:58 hours. A total of 360 mobile suits and 134 mobile armors where launched. The mobile armors acted like quick strikes by dropping napalm and metal eating chemicals, along with some explosives at armories. Mobile suit units where then launched. The jarhead units that were in the area where soon dropped in offensive positions after the airborne units commenced the surprise attack about 2 minutes after the mobile armor units dropped their arms. About 10 Delta Viking units then flanked the base from the rear launching a wave of jarhead units and a few airborne units. This attack was unexpected by the rebel forces due to the fall of the North tower which survived as a large radar facility.
At the North space port center, Col. Zokano and 2 other ace pilots engaged the facility only undergoing auto turrets and a few Zakus (old imperial units ) guards. It however did not take long to infiltrated and obliterate all the units and the facility. Col. Zokano did however did encounter a few Rebel aces including Capt. Kurisu, who in which did survive under his wing, but then broke off for some unknown reasons. But they all fled because of an order from the Rebel headquarters to retreat. A NAV point was soon set up for the 25 Delta Vikings and the NR’s most prized battle ship, The U.S.S Overlord. (It was in earth’s orbit and started its decent during the North watch tower’s dispute.).That renforcment form the U.S.S Overlord gave the NR some extra fire power. Thus a straight forward attack commenced at the main back. However the Col. decided to pull back the units when everything seemed to be going well. After a while a command out post was soon set up and a briefing for the final assault on the Rebel’s main airfield the 108th division and some others where called into the action. The 108th had their very one flag ship so they already camped out. The briefing commenced at 17:35 hours. A group was to capture the hospital and use it as a hostage just in case the outpost came under fire. Then another group, which consisted mostly of the 108th where to do a type of blitzkrieg, meaning they head to strike nice and hard and silent taking out as much units as possible before the Rebels could get to their units or positions. They did know that the NR was coming. But when the previous strike happened it worn out and or wounded a lot of the pilots and units before so medical help was more active than guards. The battle was launched at 18:15 hours. The Colonel, an ace pilot, and a group of 4 jarheads were dropped off at a hospital. Surprisingly taking over it was not a problem; there were not guards, no defensive systems, nothing. However, the hospital was on base so reinforcement could come at any time. Which did happen the leader of the Rebel forces came down and took out the 4 jarhead units and engaged Col. Zokano’s Crossbone Gundam. However, before the battle could be desired, a distress call from Lt. Kira (Present day, Capt. Kira) Stated that a Rebel cargo ship was rigged with explosives and was heading toward the Overlord. Reports also stated that the bridge crew of the overlord have been tied up and the defensive systems where shot. However, the 108th division stopped the ship and its explosions by shooting it down, thus only causing a little harm to the ship. The Col. Then came to a conclusion that it was time to leave this place. The Rebels have lost, and their airfield was servilely crippled along with their factories and mobile armors
