Zerg is just...Not fun to play anymore, I feel so limited as to what units are good to use and what units just don't work anymore, matches seem way too stressful, and disheartening, if you make one minor slip up, it's pretty much over, and it's just such a hard race to play altogether.
I think I might play some terran games.

if you want variety, then Terran is definitely the way to do it. unless you REALLY want variety, start playing Random.
Zerg isn't that bad when it comes to unit limitations though. Protoss is a whole other story, though, which mainly (if not entirely) consists of "if you can tech to 3Base Colossus" or "is my 4Gate good enough."
playing a race that isn't Zerg gives a lot of freedom. like you said, if you make a minor mistake it can cost you a lot. Terran and Protoss can at least afford to make a few. it's a hell of a lot easier, too. i seriously would encourage anyone who isn't Platinum to not play Zerg.

I'm also in the process of changing to terran.
I just love mech biggrin . PsyStarcraft has influenced me on my decision as well. I love watching his terran games. Zerg is just so different so I'm finding it a bit challengign but it'll be fun when I can go mass raven and battlecruiser xd .

go for protoss, you get stability and strength, though almot all gateway units can be countered by marauders crying .

no, Immy, although I did say that to you before, this isn't specifically directed at you. it's a general statement that I still stand by, as I feel that not having the skill level to play Zerg extremely well can hold people back.

haha nah just normal play with hellions/other weird stuff, but it was vs like 85-90% diamonds and obviously a considerable amount of luck...

I felt that way when SC2 first came out. So I switched to protoss and had infinitely more luck in games. I now do random when I play so I don't get bored with one race and then get too rusty to compete with others.
