Aesthetically it was amazing. The special effects were so good. But I felt like the storytelling was a mess. As someone with a short attention span, there was too much going on at once. And I've read the book too.
Will Poulter was great as Eustace though. Totally bratty but you still felt for him in the end.

I enjoyed the film. I even watched it twice in the big screen. But I must admit it felt like a totally new story, like it wasn't adapted from the book itself. They messed up the islands, and actually, the plot itself, but it was wonderful.
If there's one thing I didn't like about the film, it's that it has gotten a bit too overrated. Like, a year before VODT was even released I was a social outcast bc I was such a Narnia fan and Skandar Keynes fangirl, calling him ugly and stuff like that. But after the movie was released, they were all like, "OMG EMDUND WAS SO HOT I HEART NARNIA NOW FOR LYF OMG TOTEZ OZOMMMM~" NO WORDS.

Oh, and Carrie Underwood's 'There's a place for us' is AMAZING! Fits the story so well and is just such a beautiful song! <3

i thought it was ok. it wasn't terrible though. this was something i started to notice after i read the books a couple of times there are some inconsistancies in the series some are obvious and some aren't. i read this in a book about c.s. lewis, and it makes perfect sense why they exist in the series. anyway, i read that when he first published lww, he didn't originally intend for it to be a series. so all the script writer was doing, was possibly addressing some of the inconsistancies in dt.

I was kind of disappointed. VoDT was one of my favorites... it kind of just didnt feel like the other two did
I'm sad about that being the last time we'll see Georgie, Skandar, Anna, and Will in a Narnia film. Unless they want to play the adult versions of the Pevensie kids in The Horse and his Boy.. I do hope they make HHB... and not mess it up
