Can Bass Clarinets get one of the string things? Or do they have to have one of those? I don't have eather so yeah... sweatdrop

Of course bass clarinetist can use them. They are called swabs. But you see them used more, when you have a bass clarinet model that comes apart from the middle.

it really doesn't matter, there is a alto sax one that is yellow and white, same design as that one, thought the purple looks better, so it is strange, but it lme to it does look awsomeooks cool

yeah, i have one that's yellow and white for my sax, and my sis has one that's grey/ black/ white for her flute

those things can be any color they wish to be so don't be surprised if u see an orange and red one................wait that would just be weird oh well don't be surprised if u do it is normal

Are these type of things normally purple? I don't have one so I wouldn't know but I've seen clarinets pull a string with a peice of cloth on them through the main peice.

they come in all sorts of colors but what ever instrument you play dont do it
dont ever buy one, they obsorbe the spit for a short while then next time you clean it it just goes right back into your instrument, i had one for my band flute and it made my pads sticky crying
