I've been working on this pic for a while now and I colored it in with photoshop but it still needs something. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. ^__^

Here it is, another addition to the Psycho Circus.

I don't know what it is that you would put there, but I think you need something in the dead space in the upper left hand corner (or just the left in general) to balance your pic. Atm, my focus goes mainly to the sock puppet thing in front of the rainbow puke (?) and then on to the rest of the right hand side.

Otherwise, I r
eally like it.

Put a more colorful setting in the background? Not too crazy about the blue bg

I agree that the background needs work ^^ add something to it

what kind of background should I use then? I don't want to do anything to elaborate with it, that would draw away from the charicters.

Maybe add something to the left side, as was already pointed out. With your image, everything is leading the eye over there, but there's nothing there, so it's like creating a focal point in negative space. While this could be a purposeful technique, in your image I doubt that's what you really want to do. xD'

As for the background you could probably just use a simple gradient to bring your characters out. A lighter color at the bottom and a darker color at the top, mayhaps? Or even a curve back up to the top-right to bring the eye back.

On a side note, the reaper guy is awesome. <33

To illustrate what I meant. By all means you don't have to do it exactly like this, this is just what I threw together with a touch pad so you might get the gist of it. But don't use pure white either, I put that on top so you could better tell the direction/flow I was going for.

Also maybe cropping a bit of the left side off might help.

Another idea you might want to put into consideration is shading the characters and such. It will make it look much better if you do it right :3

Yes, I planned on doing that, I just figured it would be better to do that after I had some help finishing the initial drawing.
