Testicular Diabeetus Back in my day we had peasant clothes and we didn't have to wait three days to get a trading pass. We also didn't have towns and that lame capatcha code for fishing. I also remember when slots opened and everyone was shitting bricks over it. And I remember when cards opened, I loved that game. ;o I miss 2004. [~+~] This.

Ah, I remember olden days, I would play Gaia all day, and I was so happy that I had fairy wings... I ran around the house screaming "I AM FAIRY! HORRAYYY!".

Back when I first joined, everyone used text talk and it was normal to post on someone's profile just to tell them that their avi was cute, even if you didn't know them. xDDDD The layout wasn't like this at all and you were considered rich if you had 10k.
I actually really miss the old Gaia.

Ah~
I'm actually only about a year and a half old on gaia.
I remeber when i first started, i was obsessed with the daily chance and the front page.
I never really played games though...
and right when i started to get bored i discovered role-plays~
and i used to be terrible XP

I reamember I started Gaia when i saw how much fun my cousin had on this website so she helped me begin one.

I don't look much different, actually. xD
I spent a lot of time talking to ppl in the rally, towns and doing puzzles. I saved up a lot of gold and rarely got any items, so I was content dressing my avi "poor", lol. I was happy with like 700 gold, per-day.
I never aspired to get any items, though the only item I ever wanted were the Sayoran goggles, and I got them!
Now I got a bunch of gold, but to cheap to quest for anything else lol. Aside from gaining some experience and not chatting with random ppl, I'm not all different from then to now. sweatdrop
Oh and I also use to try to catch ppl cybering and put it on Yt ._. Now I just make Gaia films and junk.

i was pretty much that totally clueless newbie, about two years ago. i would ask the most random questions ("what's that button do?" "why is there a heart at the top?" " what does --- mean?"). that lasted for abouta month. i think i accidentally posted in an ooc thread once, thinking it was a walk in rp.... XD
but yeah. my literacy skill went to semi-literate in about two months, i figured (almost) everything out, and badaboom!
oh, and i emvy the new avis. they get all these pretty dresses and stuff, while i got "warm starter" this and that. ah, 2009.....
