March brings yet another lovely surprise to my doorstep. I can't wait to give youmu a try. biggrin
As side note, another game without Sakuya? Yay I dislike that tool anyway. razz

i never really cared too much for Sakuya. and despite her TH09~PoFV ending lots of people still want her to appear in subsequent games. she's the second most popular to date, anyway, so it's understandable that the fans want to see her.
a bit off-topic but unlike Sakuya, I never understood why people like Mima so much, and why people want to see her brought back. Medicine is more popular than Mima is, and Medicine isn't that popular, either.
but anyways I'm also excited to play Youmu, since she's one of my favorites. she could use a popularity boost anyhow.

Woutan Manasal I'm wondering more about how will the new musical score and cast be, instead of the scoring system... *Nods* I am definately looking forward to listening to new music (and remixes and arranges of those new songs) as well meeting new characters. Think we going to get more ghost variations? Like a banshee to become the singer of Prismriver sister's poltergeist band? Her ending in PoFV wouldn't bar her from showing up again, besides, the whole incident had a kind of "*Shrug* nothing we can do about it, so might as well leave it to the professionals (Komachi and Shikeiki) might as well enjoy it" vibe. You can't compare PC-98 characters to the current canon characters. Alot of people haven't played the first five games (partly because you need to get an emulator just to play them), so it would be easy for people to not even know who Mima is. In terms of PC-98 characters though, Mima is very popular. Particular interest of seeing her in a new game is I am sure due to the fact that she, like the rest of the PC-98 characters, seem to have been droped from canon and forgotten. Having her appear will not only mean that she does exist in the current canon, but also probably serve as the neccessary spark of integrating her into the current Touhou culture. Think of Yuka, I am sure she would be not nearly as popular as she is now if she did not make her appearance in PoFV.

When I saw this I jizzed brix. surprised
And I think it's a good thing that the game is easier. To this day I still can't get past Orin on easy mode on Subterranean, so at least I'll get to see the ending of this game. 3nodding

I would love to see Mima reappear. I thought she was a really funny and awesome character (i read the translations for 3,5 and have patched 2). I mean she was in every pc-98 game except 4. I think she was more deserving than Yuuka : /
