I liked the original shounen ending better. They ended it well and left room open for a new series in the dubbed versions. In the end they made it seem like CC was praying. In japan the diver of the wagon was Lelouch and it was clear CC was talking to him.
I didn't want a happy ending anyway. Those are starting to get old. Sad and shocking is the way to go.
Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya, has been made, but its different and lame.

I prefer this ending. but I don't dislike the author's Ending too. I respect their decision.

anyway, your ending makes me sad crying but i liked it ^^
but I still prefer the real ending. It gave a sense of "finality" after the chaos

i think so to but im wondering if he became a witch like c.c by letting charles die because i dont remember what happened to him or maybe both lelouch and c.c r witches or it could be its C2's last life and lelouch will live on im not sure which of these i like best.
