Recently a demo for dragon age 2 was released.
So based on the demo a lot of people have been a bit mad about the new direction dragon age has taken, so I wondering what your opinion thus far on the game are.
As for mine I've enjoyed the demo, combat seemed alot better and though the voice acting wasn't anything stellar it wasn't bad. Overall it was fun to play and the combat just felt more natural though others would disagree :3.

I adored it. I think their voice acting could've been... a bit better. Like with the ogre fight, I thought the mother reacted a little... late. Though the female Hawke has a lovely voice. Male Hawke does, too, but not quite as lovely, in my opinion.
But it was fun to play and I like the dialogue system. Now I don't have to feel like I'm walking on eggshells talking to the love interests. Haha. And I did like the speediness of the combat.
I'm pretty pleased with it, overall.

Well, there are certain areas where I personally think there could be improvement. Ever tried being the mage in the demo? Try taking the advantage that you are faster than any of the darkspawn, plus the ogre and that you are ranged. Yes, you have now become untouchable, shooting from range and running in circles when they come near you. That is... well, when you only got your mage left, sure.
I like how your not just standing and attacking however, but your still just doing the same s**t over and over if your just using your auto attack. A bit of differences in the auto attacking would be a huge improvement. And is there those awesome finishing moves? I didn't notice any in the demo, I ******** hope there will be in the final game. I <******** loved it when you got that epic music/sound, slow motion and stylish killing an ogre or just anything. Damn that was good.
I however enjoy that it happens in the same period as dragon age origins, I just also hope that you won't come around and think... well strange turn of events... but more like, ahaaaa, how things just perfectly fits together!
Based on the demo, both good and bad parts, sadly a bit more bad parts than what I had expected but hey, I won't judge that much before I tried the full game.

I was initially skeptical, but have come to like it. I doubt I'll enjoy it as much as the first game, but it looks very promising. I like femHawke very much, and am quickly becoming a fan of Varric and Isabella, and while I was taken aback at first I don;t dislike what they did with Flemmeth. The narrative style, though is what I liked best, and I will probably buy the game largely for the story. There's just so much cool things they could do with the whole interrogation scenario, I very much want to see how it plays out.
So, all in all, I look forward to it.

Now that it's out I can safely say that this game was leaps and bounds better than the first. Although it's just a personal opinion.

im saving money for this game and ive heard reports that alot of the characters in the game that you help can be uhh "buttholes" as people call it and how the guy that tells your story starts you out as a master mage/rogue/warrior is pretty cool then the dragon comes and it ends.

I thought it was great. I had some minor complaints, and there were things I liked more about the first game... But on the whole, I had a great time with it. Also, Varric is a badass.
