The third level of Impel Down in which prisoners are kept in. Most of the prisoners kept here are pirates who have fairly large bounties. On this level, prisoners feel the heat rising up from Level 4 and are given precious little food and water to keep them in a near death state. Staying here would surely kill a person or leave them in a state so close to death that they will not be able to move or escape.

"The Gentle Demon""I've seen it all and done it all,Lucas entered the next level, "hmm, this level seems all too boring for my taste" he said as he walked in and looked around, "Hold it there!!!" someone shouted as Lucas looked up to see who it was, "Well, isn't this a surprise" Lucas said as he looked back at Marik, "It's Camila and her Demon Guards" Lucas said as he smiled and pointed his sword at them, "Now this will be fun" Lucas then heard Camila order her three demon guards to detain them, "Lets see, a Minozebra, Minotuarus, and a Minorhinoceros. Who will be the first one to taste my blade?" Lucas asked as he finally got the chance to face strong opponents, "As I recall, the Pirate King Luffy, fought you all many years ago, so you guys must be strong if you are still alive today"

Marik looked at the three now charging at them, "you wanted more enemies, do you think you are able to take them all or am I allowed to take one?" Marik said with a smile, looking towards the three he sighed. "I hope you are right about them being stronger, we could use a little competition. Marik said as he didn't seem worried that they appeared and rather was skeptical of their strength.

"The Gentle Demon""I've seen it all and done it all,Lucas smiled and then laughed a little, as hundreds of soldiers and prisoners came into the room and charged them as well, Lucas could not help but smile even more, "Just don't interfere with my fight and you can take as many as you want" he said as he then jumped into the air and lunged at the Minotuarus. "You are the very first to taste my blade" Lucas said as he slashed at the beast, only to have his attack blocked by the Minotuarus' own weapon, a spear. "good, you have some experience with that." Lucas then landed in front of the beast, "Lets go" suddenly the two of them lunged at each other and delivered a melee of sword slashes and spear thrusts, only to have each other block and counter the others, it was like they were just testing the others skill.
While this was happening, both of them failed to noticed that they were being, surrounded, well, Lucas knew he just didn't care, "You have earned my respect, beast" Lucas as the two stopped dueling, "But, you still have a long way to go." Lucas smiled and bowed, "This has been very fun." He then sighed, "But there are two more that I want to fight." and with that, he whispered, "Soru" and seemingly vanished, only to appear right behind the beast, "See ya" he said as the beast and everyone around him collapsed with sword slashes on their body, "Well, whose next?"

Marik laughed, "I think you got this buddy, you are doing fine without me." Marik said as a group of them attempted to attack him from behind, as they touched him he turned into smoke and they passed through him only to have their heads covered in smoke. Marik laughed as all ten of them suffocated, he smiled as he solidified and looked at another group. Marik laughed again as their faces were all struck with fear, between Lucas's speed and Marik's ability to avoid being hurt they seemed to be an invincible team. Most of the prisoners started attacking the guards clearing the way for the two. they didn't touch the stronger people in the area but they did attack the guards that began to enter.

"The Gentle Demon""I've seen it all and done it all,As he made his way through the sea of prisoners and guards, Lucas came across the last two Demon Guards, "Heh, so you're both going to attack me at once? That's pretty smart for beasts like you. Using your obvious size and reach to your advantage, hehehe, this going to be fun" Lucas then pointed his blade at the two of them, "You may have the-" Suddenly both of the beasts rushed him with speed that was near his own. Catching Lucas off guard, with their speed, the two beasts struck simultaneously at his torso and head. Lucas, who was not to be underestimated, merely smiled, "Hiryū Kaen (飛竜火焔, Flying Dragon Blaze)" Lucas jumped high up into the air and slashed the two of them. After slashing them, both demon guards bursts into flames from where they were slashed, and hit the ground, completely out of it.
Seeing the last two demon guards fall, both the prisoners and soldiers fled, "Well, that was more fun that I thought it would be" Lucas said as he looked up at Camila, "You should probably get these Demon Guards out of here, before they die" Lucas then looks back at Marik, "Your devil fruit abilities are quite scary aren't they" he said as they continued on through the level.

Marik smiled, "I guess most would fear the abilities I have, but I see them as a bother since I didn't mean to eat this fruit in the place, but it does help to have such abilities. I guess they are more useful to me than my normal skills." Marik said as he walked towards the next staircase, walking up he then held the door open once again for Lucas to take the lead. Marik was happy he found someone that was as formidable as Lucas to join his crew, "Your fruit is equally as terrifying, if not even more terrifying." Marik said commending his abilities as well, since Marik had only fought normal skilled people he was glad to at least see others with common abilities to his own.
