Bad news. Nicholas Courtney (aka the Brigadier) has died, aged 81.

That greatly bums me out. He's been with the show so long, losing him is like losing Jon Pertwee or any other Doctor-actor.

I didn't watch the Classic Series (sorry). I did watch the tribute sometime ago. I teared up at the end of that montage of clips. He will surely be missed by both old and new fans.
