Arrea bared her fangs and snarled back at him. "Don't be a baby, she just nipped you." She glared at him, rising from her former kneeling position. She protectively stood infront of Sirrush. "I've seen you survive far worse than that. You shouldn't be so harsh to her and besides...she's not a pet. She is a friend, I can not teach her manners like a child." That eerie smile grace his handsome and sinister face, "Don't even think about it. I owe very much to this dragon and I will not have you harming her. I let you do whatever you want most of the time, allow you to bend what I say to suit your purposes, but I absolutely forbid you to hurt her. You are to protect her whenever I am not here and if something happens to her I will hold you personally responsible and punish you accordingly." Arrea had been waiting centuries for that egg to hatch and she wasn't going to let that go to waste because of Alexandre.
She looked down upon Sirrush, "And you." She pointed her finger towards her, "You are not to go around biting people just because they annoy you. You are a dear friend of mine and I owe you a great deal but this is my lair and my home. I have protected you while you slept and I didn't have to do this. I simply did it because of what you sacrificed for me, I did it out of respect." Her stern look turned into a warm smile, "Now please. I just ask that you respect me and my home. Okay?" Arrea bent down to scratch underneath Sirrush's chin. She then turned to Alexandre, "And stop bleeding on my throne room," she added with a bit of spite.
Sirrush cowered at Alexandre's anger. She laid flat on the ground, coiling her large tail about her body. She whimpered as his fangs were exposed through his lips. She was still just a baby even though she retained most of her memories and experiences. Once Arrea began lecturing Alexandre, Sirrush got a bit of her courage back. She peeked over the edge of her red tail, a content smirk could been seen across her face. Arrea then turned to her and began to scold her like a mother. Sirrush gazed up at her with sad, round eyes. Tears began to well in them once again, she knew Arrea couldn't remain angry at her for long and she was right. She allowed her to scratch her chin, all was forgiven.
Sirrush then stood, her tail trailing behind her. She moved to Alexandre once again and gave him a remorseful look. She pouted at him, hoping he would forgive her too. She went to the nick she had given him and began to lick it, her saliva would heal the wound she had given him. She couldn't help him with the cleaning of his blood though.

Arrea did not wait for a reply for Alexandre. "I have some things I must attend to. I am leaving Sirrush in your care." She raised her eyebrow at him to ensure he understood to implications of this matter. "If any harm comes to her I will not be a pleased empress," she threatened. After her pointing session she brought her hands to her sides and departed for the dinning room.

Vargius entered the Throne Room in a flash. He thought He would see Arrea there but the minute he came in she was already gone. Vargius saw a baby but it had the aura of royalty. He tried to sense Arrea's Aura. It was faint but He could tell it leads to the Dinning Hall. He looked at the child again then gave him a mild smile then went off to the Dinning Hall.

Arrea entered the throne room in time to hear a knock echoing throughout the walls of her chamber. "Sirrush, come." She motioned for her companion to follow her into the safety and comfort of her room. She securely shut the door behind her and gave Lilith the signal to enter. Lilith entered the door with fabulous company, she was beautiful. She understood the overwhelming sensations she had picked up from her second in command. "Welcome, beautiful enchantress." She smiled at Sanguine. "I have been looking forward to the time in which we could meet."
Arrea motioned towards the vast seating arrangements she had placed in her bedroom for such occasions. "Please, sit. Everything is quite comfortable, I assure you." She turned to Lilith, "Please reseal the catacomb door and then stand outside of my chambers to ensure none intrude, if you'd be so kind," she added while she placed herself in her favorite chair. Sirrush had climbed onto her bed sheets and as taking a nap. It had certainly been an eventful day for the little dragon. "My dear, is there anything we can get you? Do you have a favorite blood type perhaps?"
Lilith nodded, "Yes, my mistress." She turned and locked the door in the same manner as before. "If either of you need anything, please let me know. I will be right outside the door." She bowed low before departing to her guard post.

"Lilith, thank you for your pleasant company," Sanguine purred over her shoulder as she sauntered towards Arrea. Her lashes lifted, revealing moonlit eyes as they met the ruler's gaze with rapt attention. "Only through ignorance of your presence in these lands, I must confess, have I failed to seek you out." Sanguine dropped to one knee before Arrea's seat, cupping her fingers in hand and laying a delicate kiss on her knuckles. "It is my sincere hope you do not take offense, but my wardrobe hardly calls for a more feminine formal greeting. Had I known of our impending meet, I would have dressed fit for the presence of a queen." Sanguine rose as if on strings, slow, graceful, before briefly scanning the offered seating. She chose to lounge upon a settee, body languished across its length in a manner decidedly more feminine than her chosen attire. "I'm afraid I entertained your assistant before coming, but I wouldn't dare refuse the hospitality of a royal." She respectfully bowed her head, allowing a subtle smile to grace her features.

Arrea was completely and utterly shocked as Sanguine knelt before her and kissed her hand. She kept a poker face but the emotion could be seen in a flicker within her eyes. It shouldn't surprise her to be treated in such a way but most of the other vampires simply bowed before her. This was a very pleasant treat, it made her weary day brighten. "I am not displeased by your attire, you're very humble approach makes up for it well. I almost feel humbled to be in the presence of someone that treats royalty in such a way." She smiled, "You are most welcome here, for as long as you desire."
Arrea sent messages to Lilith, never taking her eyes off her guest. She told her to get one of the butlers to bring in a tray of all the blood types and to make it quick. "Sanguine, correct," she had picked up the name from Lilith's mind. "I do not judge you for being unaware of my existence. We live underground for a reason, to know that so little know of me and my lair brings me much happiness." It would also be useful information in the event of an attack, very few would see them coming. Lilith let in the butler who brought with him a golden tray of many types of blood all in small crystal vials. "Since you said you weren't very hungry I made a sample tray. All from the freshest one can offer though I am afraid we are without virgin blood." She laced her fingers together and placed her chin upon them. "Lilith was very pleased with your selection, I'll be sure to invest in such a rarity." She reached towards the tray and picked up a vial of her favorite blood, she found it easily by the scent. "Now is there anything particular you wish to discuss with me or are you here to visit and break bread?"

"You are too kind." Sanguine inhaled the sweet scent of blood with a cheshire grin. "I have never invested in virgin blood. Its addition to my store was but a happy accident one dark and stormy night. She was young, lovely, and most willing. The Abysmal Haven is known for receiving peculiar guests." Taking Arrea's acquisition as an invitation, Sanguine also took hold of one of the many vials offered. Its scent was almost nutty, with a slight twist to the exotic. "As for my presence here, I have come to meet with a queen amongst our people. I wish to know of your kingdom. Should you wish anything of me and mine, I would be happy to oblige." Sanguine raised her vial in salute, watching it sparkle in the candlelight before placing it to her lips. She took a taste, mere drops against her lips, and rolled it with her tongue, savoring its flavor like a chocolate. She swallowed, bare throat convulsed visibly beneath her ivory skin as the blood slid deeper into her body. A single drop fell beside her parted ruby lips, casually removed with a slow lick of her tongue. "You will find my palate is easily sated."

Arrea smiled gently at Sanguine, if this vampire wished to remain here she would certainly be of great use to her. "I must thank you for allowing the catacombs to connect to the Abysmal Haven, it's uses will be infinite to us. If there is anything you desire of me, I am in your debt." She nodded her head slightly towards her. "The gifts I can offer you are infinite as well, anything you can imagine I will deliver."
The enjoyment of the blood was apparent on her face, the twitch of her flesh against her jugular was beautiful to observe. It pleased Arrea a great deal, though she was unsure why. "I would like to discuss something with you, from one empress to another." Her face became serious, her lips fading into a straight line. "I have some concerns about the peace within the underground. It seems conflicts have been arising. We have been unfortunate enough to experience this. There is not a proper understanding of racial customs and values. I expect a war to break out soon. I have told my people to hold off all assaults for fear of a political scandal. Tell me, in the event of a national war...what is it the haven would plan to do? Would you remain neutral or join another race?"

"The Abysmal Haven itself remains neutral ground, as it was always meant to be. Perhaps a place of peaceful negotiation between the warring races. However, I cannot speak for the positions of those within its walls. The Forsworn name holds great power, and one's heart cannot be neutral ground, wouldn't you agree? Sometimes strong friends are the best one may hope for. I, for one, remember where my personal loyalties lie." Sanguine shared a sly smile with Arrea. "It seems our conversation must be cut short. The castle beckons. Should it possess ears, they would be positively burning." Her home whispered word of its newest visitors, who expected an invitation within its walls from a monarch. Surely she could give them the welcome they expected. Politics, how they made her head ache. Sanguine slowly drew herself up and smoothed her attire, a habit better suited to the full skirts of days past. "Consider this a permanent invitation to use your newly acquired connection into my home as frequently as you like. Unfortunately, I require its services for a far less pleasurable purpose, namely, my departure." Her voice rang out clear, though not less intimate than her previously hushed tones. "Lilith, would you be so kind as to see me out?"

Lilith received permission from Arrea via their mental connection. She opened the door to the chambers and held her arm out for Sanguine. "Please, my beautiful mistress." She entered the catacombs with her once she had taken her arm and began to lead her home.
Arrea found herself alone once again, the peace and quiet didn't seem so bad. It gave her time to relax. That was until she heard Sirrush enter the throne room, closely following was a woman. Arrea had to entertain another guest. She stood and walked out into the hall of her throne room, she sat upon her perch and awaited their arrival. She tapped her fingers against the marble chair with impatience though she would cease this action as soon as she saw her companion rush into the room. Sirrush quickly darted around the leg of her chair before performing a certain kind of jumping/flying maneuver into her lap where she awaited attention. Arrea ran her fingers against the hardening scales of her companion, brushing her knuckle rather roughly behind her ear. That's how she liked it though, it took a bit of work for a dragon to feel anything through it's armor. Once she heard the approaching footsteps she spoke, her voice echoing throughout the barren room she seldom used. "Greetings, my young guest. Have you come to seek council with me?"

Arrea rose from her seat, her body tense with the threatening air she felt in her domain. She gently moved Sirrush to the chair she had been sitting in before telling her to stay and guard her throne room. It would give Sirrush a sense of duty and prevent her from following her blindly towards whatever troubles were present. She departed for the courtyard.

Walking in, Baiqiong could instantly tell that the room had been vacant for a long time. It was dark, the only light coming from the small windows above. She could hear her heels echo as she walked toward the throne. Each step threw up dust and it danced before her. Closing her eyes, she tried to imagine what the room looked like when it was alive, fillied with people and chandelier glistening above them. Upon reaching the throne, she sat in it, mystified by what power one felt when sitting on it. The stones were cool against her back and a shiver went up her spine. Finished exploring here, she stood up and left.
