£ies a sleepy and quiet town,
Шith an anctient secret and tradition.
Ώnly those who were born in the town follow this tradition.
Ŧhose who do not know of this tradition, are forbidden to take part in it. Ģirls are given a heart shaped locket when they are born, and must always wear it.
βoys are given a key when they are born, and must wear it always.
Ŧhese objects must always be worn where others can see them.
Ŧhey also can not be removed until a male and a female find a matching pair.

Ŧhe §tory In this town, there has been a way of life that the people have always moved in. Some may call it a curse, others say it's a blessing in disguise, but even some have no take or interest in it. For every man, and every woman, are destined to become coupled with somebody else for the rest of their lives. In other words, Soul Mates.
This idea was set down many hundreds of years ago as the town had only been starting off as a small village on the beach of the ocean. It was declared a law at the time by Five Elder Council Men. They thought that by doing this, no one would feel alone, and die miserable and unwed. But even as the town grew, and the people grew smarter, the tradition lived. People couldn't bring themselves to act otherwise, even if the person they were destined to be with was someone they hated.
Now we look onto a modern age of things, people are more apt to rebel against these things, but others, still believe in the destiny of their matching lock and key. To find out who you are to be partnered with, is a life wish most share though, and are striving in their every day lives to accomplish. So will you be one to go with the flow of things and find who you are destined to, or are you going to fight the tradition and find a love of your own? Ŧhe Яules Ⅰ. Follow all of Gaia's Rules and The rules of this Guild.
Ⅱ. Respect all other users and do not start fighting in OOC...
Ⅲ. Being Literate or even Semi-Literate would be awesome. No oneliners. Use lots of details, and make your posts as pretty as you can.
Ⅳ. I really shouldn't have to say these two things, but NO GODMODDING. NOTHING OVER PG-13. I won't have it. Time skip. That's it.
Ⅴ. Please send profiles to me with the Subject; Destiny of the Lock & Key. Then put a [ (: ] face at the top so I know you read my rules.
Ⅵ. Let me know if you are going to be gone for awhile, so we can make sure that your character goes away for awhile so nobody is waiting on you. It's no fun for others when that happens.
Ⅶ. Please please PLEASE give your characters some depth and don't make them oh so predictable. (: We all like a bit of variation. It's good to change.
Ⅷ. I am lady of this Roleplay. Obey me here. Then if not here, obey our Guild Leader. (: No questions.
Ⅸ. So, fighting and romance is encouraged, but no love right off the bat, unless it's part of your character's history, and no killing off another character unless you, the other person, and myself have all discussed it.
