Captain of the Second Squad "A light will shine through
When no one can save you"  ∿Alex stood with a fierce demeanor. His face showed no expression. No smile. No frown. Just the constant serious look that all captains should work to maintain. He even stood his ground that way. This made him a truly peculiar sight as he prepared himself both mentally and physically for this challenge that he had sent out only a few days before. This captain was unwillingly strong. Someone he had wanted to fight for a while now. Impatiently, he tapped his foot.
"Are we ready?" He asked the other captain who had agreed to spar with him. Dasuto of squad five. He held out a hand meant to be shaken to prove that this battle would be fair, strong, but not so strong as to completely injure the other.
The handshake had to be the most important part of this sparring session.

  "if you fail to meet my standereds..."  "I will have to kill you" Dasuto look at the out reached hand and then to Alex. He took hold of it, but only for a second. He turned his back on him, and began to walk away from Alex. He found himself 20 feet away before turning back to meet his opponent "prepare yourself ". Dasuto's mind was racing, how could he end this quickly. He did not like the ideal of fighting another captain, but to keep his pride he had to accept. He could see no reason for this fight, and looked at Alex "I will not hold back, just because this is a sparing session" he said nodding towards the side of the battle field, were squad four members waited. He looked Alex over, he had never seen him battle before so he had to be careful. Dasuto slowly drew his zanpakuto, and got himself into a battle position, he nodded to Alex to begin the fight.

Captain of the Second Squad "A light will shine through
When no one can save you" ∿The Second squad captain nodded and raced backwards bit by bit. Careful not to let anything show, he drew his blade in one quick, fluid movement. Oh how he had practiced that one sword draw so many times. Today it was perfect. His look was still mildly intimidating, and portrayed it's own emotionless glow.
Alex couldn't do much else, and everything in his mind went silent as he spoke, "Show me what it means to be a Captain! Let's spar!" His blade glinted just barely at that, which made him grin a bit. Not the arrogant type of grin one would conceive. The kind one gets when they feel mildly happy.
He held his blade with both hands, and began to circle Dasuto. Holding back was the last thing on his mind. He had the rhythm of this spar already implanted in his mind.

"if you fail to meet my standereds..." "I will have to kill you" Dasuto looked at Alex's movments, and studied them. He did not waste any time attacking "Bakudō 62. Hyapporankan" in his free hand formed a blue-white glowing rod of energy. He jumped into the air and sent it flying towards Alex, and as it traveled the rod spit apart, it also grew in size. It created 50 rods as it flew towards him. He used shunpo to return to the ground to let out another kidou. "Hadō 33. Sōkatsui" he pointed at Alex with his index and middle fingers and generated a torrent of blue spiritual energy, he sent it towards Alex in combination with his earlier attack. He was attempting to end the battle with out using his zanpakuto, and he actually smiled . (sorry about the wait)

When no one can save you" ∿ The Second Squad Captain nodded in approval of the Kido, but wasted no time moving out of the way of the Bakudo. There was no way that he would allow himself to be struck by any of these. The Hado was trickier to follow up on though, and it caught him and knocked him backwards a few feet.
Having no time to assess his injuries, Alex managed to keep his balance and began to flash step from place to place before picking a spot directly behind Dasuto where he would perform his own Kido. He wasted no time getting to Dasuto's blind spot. "Hadō 58. Tenran" He held up his Zanpakutō and began spinning it rapidly, thus creating a blast of tornado wind energy which was thrust upon Dasuto.
Dasuto seemed to be getting cocky. In the future, this would only mean that Alex would have the advantage. People tend to screw up when they act this way. He thought. Nothing was bothering him besides this.

"if you fail to meet my standereds..." "I will have to kill you" Thinking quickly, Dasuto Held up his Zanpakuto to block some of the force. He was blown into the air 30 feet away. The small smile he had was faded, and his hair moved with the wind, leaves of near by trees flew around him. "Awaken Mugen no arashi" the air around him turned violent, and surrounding his sword. With a small movement of his zanpkuto the air dispurted and his blood red sword hung in his firm grip. "I told you no holding back" he moved his sword in formation of a nine pointed star, and his captain haori was torn into ribbons showing the star on the back of his shirt as he called out "rain of red shards" 567 red arrowhead shaped shards formed in the sky around him. Dasuto would not hold back any longer, this fight had only one out come and he knew it. In one movement of his sword they went flying towards Alex at incredible speed. (sorry about the wait again)
