Ira lay atop a rock, her tails swaying lazily behind her as boredom set in. Boredom for Ira was never a good thing. People got hurt, not her daughters mind you but...things often got bloody. She half blamed the boredom on the fact that this place was nothing like her old home Silent Hill. There was always something going on there. She also blamed it on the fact that she was single. When she had been mated before, her time was always occupied, but now time was all she had and her babies were grown and living their own lives. "Pumpkin, either kill it or kill it."Pumpkin looked up from the mercat she held beneath her paws and smiled at her mother. "I know, I know. Don't play with your food but I don't want him to be my food. I just want to play with him to pass the time. I'm bored." She eyed her mother with concern. While Ira looked bored, she could also pick up on her mothers distress but she just couldn't figure out what kind of distress it was.

Erebos strode in, head high with a haughty look on his face as if all that existed was below him, and he had not the time nor the patience to deal with, nor acknowledge it's existance. His wings tucked close, he was strong and handsome with his dark fur rippling beneath powerful muscles. He was a demonic in nearly every way...except for one small flaw.
He actually did care about things...very deeply. His family for one, and his best friend for another. He'd do anything for them, but to admit it aloud? HA!
Even for his I-don't-give-a-crap attitude he portrayed for everyone else, those he cared about could read him like the book he was. Actually drove him nuts as a cub, but he'd come to accept it growing up. For the most part, of those outside his little circle, he really didn't care, but soon has his eyes lit upon the orange and green dressed beauty, his eyes softened considerably. As long as Pumpkin was around, the world could go to hell.
Out of respect, he greeted her mother first with a bit of a bow of his head. He respected the lioness deeply...one had to if one wanted to remain living around her, at least so he thought. "Greetings," he purred to them both, settling down with a rustle of wings near Pumpkin. Eyeing the meerkat, he lifted an eyebrow, giving her a teasing smile and quietly chuckling as if she'd be caught with her hand in the cookie jar playing with her food again.

Ira nodded her head to Erebos as he approached, her crimson eyes never leaving his form. She knew just who this male was. Her daughter made it a habit of dragging him back to the den with her and she would never hush of how he was hers. Even now she lay claim to him and Ira couldn't help but wonder if her daughter fully understood what she was doing or saying. Either way, it would prove most entertaining when her father caught wind of this. Oh how protective Hichigo was of his girls.
"Erebos, it's been a while since I last saw you. I was beginning to think you no longer liked us."
She smiled at him, her words nothing more than playful banter but behind that smile he knew was malicious intent. It was not directly focused at him, it was just how she was with just about everyone. She noted his teasing smile toward her daughter and purred with delight.
She was like a kitten all over again the moment Erebos settled near her. Without missing a beat, she rubbed her body against his purring contently. She really did enjoy his scent and the feel of his pelt against hers. However she paused when she noticed the teasing smile that was directed her way. "W...what?"

From her darkened corner, Heather smirked, snickering at Erebos' look. This one was a being of her parents' truest mix. Her coat was always covered with blood. Either from her prey, or from her own. Ever bleeding as was the taint of Silent Hill....
"Erebos... Your eyes speak louder than your words... And give away your amusement." She laughed low and rolled over, watching them upside-down with her own cruel smirk. "Sister dear, he smiles at your tendency to befriend almost all your meals." She rolled back over and canted her head at Pumpkin, giving her a pout. "The meerkat is a snack, not a friend. He's much too small to play with, you see. He breaks far too easy." She smiled impishly at that last part, shrugging her shoulder and clicking the claws of one paw against the rock she lay against.
"if you are so bored, then why don't you make him scream a little?" She would love it herself, but Pumpkin wasn't as violent as her sisters.

Pumpkin watched her sister intently as she rolled over onto her back, ever tempted to pounce her and wrestle around. Unfortunately she didn't move fast enough for Heather returned to laying on her stomach. She pouted for only a few seconds before giggling softly."I don't make friends with my meals. I eat them until my belly is all full. Mr. Meerkat isn't a meal...he wouldn't even make a good snack. Like you said, he's too small but being small makes him still the perfect size for a play mate or even a pet."
If only that were true. Pumpkin has had more pets than Kill-Joy had violent tendencies. None of them ever made it because of how rough she could be when it came to her games. Yes she was no where near as violent as her sisters, but she could very well get rough if she needed to be. It was just how they had fun around here. "I dunno if I want to make him scream...last time I did that just to see what would happen I got bit on the nose. That was not fun!"

And that's when a very familiar laugh echoed through the air emanating from behind Pumpkin and her....toy.
"That's when you break a bone, little one. When a pet defies you, you punish them. Harshly. Wouldn't want them to forget the lesson any time soon now, would we?" Hichigo fazed into reality as he laughed once more, seeming to come out of the shadows themselves. His eyes were immediately on the male beside his daughter, sizing him up, analyzing. His eyes glowed as he studied the male, his trademark smirk spreading from ear to ear. "And what do we have here?"Heather smiled and perked up immediately at the echoing voice, sitting up on her rock. So she didn't have to summon him this time. It was good to know he still wandered the realms freely. With a smirk at Erebos, she stood and walked over, her tail swishing back and forth behind her. "I believe the pleasure of introduction belongs to Pumpkin, oh honorable father. After all, he IS hers."

Erebos purred when Pumpkin rubbed her body against his, and he nuzzled her in return. He never felt complete unless they were together, and he loved the way she smelled and played with her food. From the moment they'd met, he'd got it in his mind that she was his, and that was all there was to it.
Looking up at Ira, his eyes were half-closed in contentment as he replied, "My uncle, Keris, had need of me for a time and so called me away. Wanted help tracking down the b*****d who got one of my cousins pregnant, but it seems he's disappeared. Good riddance, in my opinion. While he had power, which is why my cousin seduced him, he was intent on being in the cubs lives, and we did not want their training tainted by his stupidity. It seems we have no more need to worry of that for now."
He enjoyed watching the antics of the two sisters, chuckling briefly at Pumpkin's frown when the opportunity to wrestle evaded her, and at her admission of being bitten on the nose. He was studying her face with a bit of a smile, thinking of how good life was with her in it and that he'd never give her up to anyone, when his thoughts were interrupted by another male's voice.
He turned to see whom it was to be confronted by one who seemed to be a cross between a lunar lion, a snake and pirahana all sorta mixed together into one rather gruesome whole. Uncle would love him, he thought with a chuckle, envisioning his cousin Sera trying to seduce this being. And she thought Gaara had had power? Perhaps, but wow she's mistaken...if all that Uncle said is true. He was just debating standing or staying where he was, trying to think what would be the most respectful and least likely to get him gnawed on with a mouthful of teeth, when he was caught off guard by Heather's comment of Pumpkin claiming him and thought better of debating the matter of whom claimed whom since he was sure this had to be her father...maybe. He looked to Pumpkin, intending to stand when she did, or take his cue from her as he thought that the safest course of action in this instance.

"Papa!" Without a second thought, Pumpkin ran towards her father and when she was within reach, she rubbed up against him and purred just as she always did when she was a cub. How she always enjoyed his visits but then again she was quite the daddy's girl and damned if she wasn't proud of this fact. "I'm so happy your here daddy because now I can introduce you to my Erebos. I claimed him when I was younger and thus far he has remained mine." She nodded matter of factly and her gaze fell onto Erebos, a great love shining in her eyes. "I'm sure you'll like him Papa. He's very strong and his bloodline has an interesting mix of things, plus he's the perfect cuddle buddy too!"
Ira's eyes widened when she heard that sultry voice, though it was not because she feared it. No she had nothing to fear when it came to Hichigo...well she did but she chose to push aside that fear. She was in fact rather happy to see him. He didn't come around often...well not often enough for her. Perhaps...no. What would he want with her? She maintained her position but she did give him a greeting. "It is good to see you again Hichigo." A small smile crossed her maw when she saw Pumpkin run towards her father with a cub like innocence. While something like that usually disgusted her, she was somehow able to find a liking to it when it came to her pumpkin. Her announcement to her father was most amusing and she was rather intrigued with the possibilities of what would happen next.

Erebos, taking his cues from Pumpkin, did elect to stand as she did, tucking his wings into his body as he regarded the older male from where he remained standing. He had power oozing from his pores, and Erebos couldn't help the tinge of fear that touched his mind, bowing his head in silent respect while never taking his eyes off Hichigo's form. One never took their eyes off something or someone they did not fully trust - in battle such would mean death.
His gaze flickered to watch his best friend's cub-like antics. She constantly amused him to no end, and he loved her pieces, though he'd admit it to no one. His mental chuckle was displaced by, again, that touch of slight confusion of Pumpkin's claim over him. He was sure it was he whom claimed her! Aah, no matter, they were friends and he was happy. Who was he to argue the point? He did have a strong background, he WAS strong...but a cuddle buddy? How embarrasing, even if it was true in Pumpkin's case alone.
His gaze flicked back to her father, wondering what he would think...

He raised an eyebrow and smirked a greeting at Iratus as Pumpkin rubbed against him in greeting him. As his daughter, Pumpkin was the -only- creature in existence who was allowed to get away with nuzzling up to the powerful Hollowbeast. He gave her a gentle nose poke, then turned his full attention back to the male before him, studying him where he stood, the grin fading as he stepped closer.
"He looks like a demon... But does he have the power of one?" He smirked, his long, powerful tail swishing behind him and claws raking the earth benath him as he circled the male. "And just why have you chosen this plaything in particular to keep above all others? Is he so... amusing? Why did you claim him? Besides his cuddle-y-ness, of course."
Heather's claws extended and her smile grew wide. She was itching for blood, her tail twitching behind her. And with her father around, blood was never too far away...

"Well I got this tingly feeling in my stomach the first time I met him as a cub. I figured the tingles meant he was what I needed in a good friend. Though when I first met him, he looked at me funny but that's ok because back then everyone besides you, mama's and sissy's always looked at me funny....come to think of it they still do look at me funny........ANYWAY I decided then to make him my friend. He wasn't as cold after spending time with me but he was still a meanie when he wanted to be."
Taking a moment to recollect her thoughts, Pumpkin trotted over to Heather and took a seat near her, batting at her tail with her left fore paw.
"Then he went away for a while. Not too sure what that was about but when I saw him again when I was older, I got that same tingly feeling in my stomach only this time, the lady in my head screamed but it was an excited scream. My cheeks felt all warm and I wanted to do stuff to him....I'm just not sure exactly what kind of stuff I wanted to do though. I think the lady in my head was making me feel what she felt. Plus he's really strong and I was sure that would come to like him. That and he doesn't annoy me or the lady like other males around here do. So I claimed him as mine."
