 "Another world awaits--" Basically, I set up this thread in hopes to gather everyone's opinions about a long-term avi contest. You know, like the massive ones they hold in the AT/Dressing Room forums. I've been contemplating this for a long time. The basic idea is that we'd have as many participants as possible, and there would be rounds and eliminations. Weekly themes will be assigned, then judged by myself and guest judges, scored accordingly, and every week there would be an elimination until two people are left. In that case, we'll have the head-to-head round to determine the winner.
That's how it -should- pan out.
But before I begin preparations for this massive project, I'd like to know if any of you guys would actually be willing to participate. I'd hate to spend a lot of time planning and organizing and funding for prizes and stuff, but only have like two or three people actually want to do this. So, this thread is to share your thoughts and leave some comments and suggestions/ideas for this...idea.
By the way, anyone who knows where the poll comes from wins a bazillion points. "--and you're going."

I might join, depending on the entry fee XD Did you have a certain overall theme for the rounds in mind, or just random stuff?

@ Weasel: There won't be an entry fee for this contest, so maybe that'll sway your decision. XD Um, the rounds would just be random-ish. Like one week, you might have to make a superhero avi, and another week, you'll have to make an avi of your zodiac sign or something. Things like that. "--and you're going."

"Another world awaits--" @ Weasel: Originally, I wasn't going to allow Tekteks, but why should I expect everyone to own all the items necessary to make brilliant avis to match the week's theme? So, what I think is going to happen is that I'll allow Tekteks, but in judging, I'll give out a couple bonus points to the total score if someone makes an actual avi instead of just a Tektek. Like I said, I'm still in the planning stages. XD

@ John: Of course. .___. The only people not allowed to participate are judges, and I'm the only judge so far. XD
