Itachi seemed to growl at the man as they moved. It irritated him that neither of his punches landed. It always too more energy to throw a punch and miss than it did to throw a punch and connect, not to mention that if you put too much force behind it and missed, it could throw off your balance. The leader had moved back, not liking the face that the circle around them was getting bigger. It gave his opponent too much room to move.

Itachi watched his foe, trying to figure out exactly what the man was doing, or at least what he was planning to do. As the boy moved, he moved, trying to stay out of the way of any hard blows. Though he failed to realize that as the boy was shifting around, he was readying himself for another punch.

Itachi had realized this a little too late. He tried to move to keep the fist from connecting with his face, but all that accomplished was getting the side of his head hammered on. The boy had thrown a lucky punch, a punch that had landed just so, to one of Itachis pressure points. It had just the right amount of force behind it to sent the man to the ground.

Itachi's vision blurred before turning black as his head hit the pavement with a slight thud. It was something the other members of the group were not happy about. Something like this had never happened before, at least not to their leader. The remaining members that were able to fight jumped in on the boy, closing the space he had created. They began throws punches, or even trying to grab him, anything to try and avenge their temporarily fallen leader.

The two gang members that held the girl didn't budge though, knowing that even with the circumstances, Itachi wouldn't want her released. "Shut the hell up!" One ordered her as she screamed for help. After a moment he began to shake her, as if that would make her stop.
