hey guys! What's up! happy Wunderland Wednesday! As you guys already know, my life decided to interrupt. Hopefully I won't have to deal with my family staying here much longer. But enough about me. Time for Gaga. There's just an explosion of crosses and Born This Way and just... orgasm. Lots of orgasm since Friday.

Born This Way came out as a single recently on February 11th, Friday. It's already received controversy, a live performance, and records.

The controversy comes into two doses. There is controversy of it sounding like seven... hundred other songs. Express Yourself and Waterfalls, along with Vogue, being the most used amongst the comparisons. frankly, in my opinion, it's an awesome song. The other controversy is that chola and orient are used as rascist terms. I didn't even know what chola was. I've never even heard that term, if that tells you anything. I just guess ignorance is bliss eh, eh?

The records are as follows: In less than 3 hours of the release, the song managed to top the US iTunes best selling, becoming the fastest song to ever reach #1 (beating Taylor Swift's "Mine" which took 5 hours).
In about 5 hours after the release, the song continued it's rise on iTunes, topping in 21 other countries (The first and only single to achieve such status). The countries where "Born This Way" reached number 1 (on iTunes) include Canada, Mexico, Ireland, France, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Greece, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Norway, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and Australia.
The song also broke the record for the most first-day spins on U.S. radios. On the day of the release, the track was played 1,838 times on mainstream stations alone, surpassing the previous record of 619 spins set by Britney Spears’ “Hold It Against Me” just a month before. The song also had a record-breaking 25 million audience impressions in the first day, with a total of more than 2,500 plays from all formats.


Gaga won three Grammys! One before the ceremony and two during. She won Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Short Form Music Video. She perofrmed Born This Way after emerging from the "womb" (officially known as the translucent vessel) and also debuted the Boudair Piano/Organ.

On the same night she was on 60 minutes where she talked a lot about fame and death and many other things.

The night after, she revealed to Jay Leno, she happily celebrated her Grammy awards. She, unfortunately, doesn't remember it. She was known as drunky Gaga though. She also revealed that she designed the outfits for herself and the dancers two days before the Grammy performance. Apparently she just didn't feel right about the first outfits and the Haus of Gaga went red and beady eyed.

There has been a total release of ten names of Born This Way songs. Born This Way, You and I, Sheibe/Scheisse, Hair, Government Hooker, Bad Kids, Americano, Judas, Marry the Night, and Edge of Glory. It has also been confirmed and reaffirmed that Judas is the second single. It has also been said by Gaga herself that the single will be coming out a few weeks before the album does.

That just leaves ten more songs for the release, that is, if you include the certain three on the Target Deluxe edition that you can preorder from Target from February 11-26.
