" All secrets come out in time." It was said in a calm tone, almost absently.. His gaze falling to where Susana tried to aid him. Ignoring the ache in his gut he stood on his own, giving a slight shake of his head in warning. She needed her energy.
A slow nod was his answer, Quin ruffling his child's hair as he said honestly.. sounding tired. " I am unable to feel regret for such a thing, nor do I hold a grudge for being struck for it." Instinct.. was nothing to fight with, or feel shame for. At his age.. It was impossible to do either, it was what made old demon's so deadly. Reason slipped away when instinct called. Scrubing a hand over his face he knelt, his tone gentle as he teased his child. " Trinity, your prey will not be afraid of you if you keep looking so worried. Are you ready to hunt, little one?"

After a while she was just barely there, having to sit down and watch everyone. She kept quiet to save what little energy she had left. After a while though she lifted her hand and held onto Ice's needing something solid to hold onto so she wouldn't go into a dark place for hours to get her energy back. Ice... You have always been around since I could remember... Right now I would be hurt without him... She sighed as she closed her eyes in thought, keeping an ear out to make sure no one would attack.

They were on the same page then. At the giggle that escaped from Trinity's lips Dalykos nearly felt a smile cross his own face, fighting it back. It reminded him of Alicia before her powers had emerged. Before her mind had given in under the pressure, now she never smiled. "She would have never hurt her. You have to admit, when no one knows that the little girl belongs to you-" Trinity felt the need then to shift to her demon form, tail wagging as she stood closer to her father's legs, looking as if she were leaning against him as she panted "-Common sense and instinct would say 'Do not let the kid near the demon.'" Alicia had always been a bleeding heart once she needed to feed more. "But she would never have intentionally hurt her."
