I think it either has to do with 1. Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher" becoming more popular film wise. 2. The discovery of more than 500 planets in the distance of our galaxy that have the possibility of containing life.

Anti-Alien propaganda. If aliens really wanted to enslave us or kill us, they'd have done it already.

I actually feel that they're not making enough alien movies. Or they're making crap ones like District 9.

Obscurus Vanilla eXee I actually feel that they're not making enough alien movies. Or they're making crap ones like District 9. I actually liked District 9.
The advertisements misrepresented it. From everything I saw and read, I went into it thinking it would be a boss alien movie. Turns out it was Men in Black 3.

I don't really think there are any clear cut good guys or bad guys in an alien movie. It depends on the viewer's perspective, like everything else. Sure, there may be a team that the director's want you to route for, but that doesn't mean you have to.

❝Yea, I realized that too. A lot of movies about aliens lately. This is some kind of indoctrination, I'm sure. It'll make people to believe that aliens exists, but when in fact it was really a step to make HAARP or Blue Beam successful.❞
