Exegesis on the Soul
I really don't know too much about this text but it makes me think of the Song of Solomon. It's such a beautiful wisdom text and rich with lots of symbolism. They even include a little bit of commentary on some of Paul's letters too. What's even neater, these early Christians were comfortable quoting Homer's The Odyssey right along with the Old Testament Prophets. So what are your impressions of this text? What did you get from it? Did you like it or not and why?
