Today is a sad day for theater Arthur Miller, one of the great American Playwrights, died Thursday night at the age of 89 of heart failure. Some of Miller's most well-known plays include Death of a Salesman, The Crucible, and All My Sons.

I can't think of any moments, because I've only seen each of those three plays once, but I remember earlier this year when I saw Death of a Salesman. I was blown away. It's definatly one of those shows where you leave, and you can't think of anything to say, because it was so powerful, so moving. It ended, and all I could think was, "Wow. That show is Incredible." The only other show to leave me like that was The Glass Menagerie(sp?) by Tennessee Williams.

That is really sad. I loved Death of a Salesman when I saw it for English. He was a great playwright, and I think he dated Marylin Monroe at one point.

That's right. I just read an article on him. That's why he wrote "After the Fall." Yep. He had very interesting stories about her, which were used in many movies about her. He was the last of her husbands. I belive they are all dead now. I'm not so sure about the first husband, though.

The Crucible and Death of a Salesman are excellent plays. Especially Salesman. I saw a college production of it. And I saw a revival of the Crucible on Broadway. I saw another of his plays on Broadway, I think it was All My Sons. I have to read The Price, that's supposed to be a good play too.
