Okay, first off if this was implemented into the game it would be a major update. The reason being that this wouldn't be one area, but a bunch of different areas, like how we have Gold Beach and Barton, etc. It would be like that, but on a different planet.
Also I'd like to point out that this wouldn't be available to everybody, your CL would have to be past a certain point to enter. Say maybe 15.0 (If we ever get that far xD). And the entrance to the Zurg Homeworld would be in the cliffs of Old Aqueduct, you know the same screen where the null chamber is. On that screen there would be a UFO with a light beamed down, and if you click on the light you shall be transported to the Zurg Mother Ship.
The Zurg Mother Ship would serve as the Null Chamber for the Zurg Homeworld, in other words you would use the Mother ship to travel to other areas, like how we use the Null Chamber today. And the first area that would be unlocked for you to be transported to would be the Capital, the main city for the Zurg. This would be like the Barton of Earth. Here you can explore and maybe get some new quests from the local Zurg, but this won't just me random quests with no plot, there would be some story behind it all.
The story or plot could be that the Zurg have witnessed our talents and what we have accomplished, and they feel that they might be able to use us to help solve their own problems. Their problem can be debatable, but the idea I had was that there was an Organization within the Zurg Society, and they were determined to overthrow Mother, the current leader of the Zurg race. And Mother wishes for you to come to their planet and help them. (More of this may be explained later). So you go out to make a deal with the Organization, but they refuse and decide to continue with their plans. Long story short, you end up having to fight this Organization until it is completely destroyed. But this Organization is but one small part of one bigger organization, and these organizations each control an area. So you have to go to each area and defeat these Nega Zurg. And eventually, after you have defeated the bosses of all the small organizations, you would go to the head one, and defeat the head honcho. The head base would be an area all on its own, and the other, smaller ones would just be instances. Each area would also have its own residents, some of which would like to aid you with your goals, this is where the quests would come from.
There would also be a new variety of animated, and I also thought that if we do get a new type of orb, this could be where we get them from. Anyways, some of the animated I had in mind were maybe like the grunts of the organizations, these would just be like evil Zurg, animated rocket ships, cosmic fluffs, etc.

One thing I would like is a little bit more connectivity between the preceeding storyline, and this - then again, since this looks most like a "Chapter 3" plot (at least - I expect the expansion to Durem and Aekea to come first, and it looks like both of those will follow the Isle de Gambino), I guess you don't really know what storyline you're supposed to be connecting to. All I meant was that it seems to be drawing a lot of focus away from the plot of the game, without some kind of a common thread to run between them. We do still have a world in peril down here, after all - having everyone run off to solve another planet's problems would be really strange, without a very good reason; and what you're proposing is simply too big to be optional.
That said, having a whole Zurg world does sound interesting - if we get [ JK ] in here, I believe I've heard him mention that he already has some of his own ideas for it, too. One curiosity, though: how on Earth Gaia Zurgworld did Animated get there? Animated are inanimate objects, brought to life by an excess of absorbed G'hi. G'hi, likewise, is the animating force of life on Gaia. It's arguable that other planets may have similar forces ("Z'hi", for instance), but unless there's a reason to believe that very similar events took place there to cause our G'hi overflow, I don't see how they'd manage to have Animated - simply from a storyline perspective. On the plus side: if you can think of a plotworthy reason, then that would probably be thread enough to connect the two plots... 3nodding

well thast one of the reason why i said a certain CL would be required to actually travel there, but ya, at the moment its just a bunch of cluttered ideas, and I haven't actually though of a plot yet that could connect it to the actual plot. And yes i know this is a big idea and the chances of it actually being considered is very small xD, though that doesn't mean that other idea's can't come from this one lol. and i totally forgot about the animated part lol, almost all of this came to me in math class, which is my first period, so a lot of it was lost on the way. but ya i've only thought up so much, maybe it could be like the explosion that created the animated in the first place created a cosmic energy wave that traveled through the universe animating objects and it eventually reached the zurg world and ~ ta ~ daaaa you have animated in the zurg world lol
