00000000homosexual - and, actually, he can hide it. Raize is very much ashamed and in denial of his sexuality, whether from his own repressed memories, or due to his guardian's despicable attitude.

00000ωαℓк αη∂ тαℓк
00000000Raize's most dominant personality trait is the fact that he is not friendly. At all. He's about as friendly as an angry mother bear - or less friendly, if that's possible. He's antisocial, bitchy, and just generally sucks at interacting with people. In fact, if someone versed in psychology were to look closely at the brown impling, they would probably say that he were...afraid, of people. But, Raize is a proud man, and he would never admit to being afraid of anything, or anyone. He's also very stubborn, and hard headed. It makes arguing with him all but impossible. Not that it would be very possible anyways, since he has a bad habit of turning into a bear when he's angry. And since his default emotion is 'pissy', getting to 'angry' doesn't take much.
Of course, the grumpy blacksmith does have a softer side. It's just so deep down, even he isn't sure if it exists, or not. He doesn't make many friends, but to the ones he does befriend, he is the most loyal man on earth. Raize forms deep emotional attachments to his few companions, and once they are formed, you could not have a better man at your back. He will never give up, will never back down, if you need his help. Even if it gets him hurt,

00000cαη'т тσυcн тнιs
00000000Raize can eat. Of course, every one can, but the reason this is a skill of his is because he can eat a lot. A veritable bottomless pit, Raize has to feed not only his impling self, but the bear within him - and it's one damn gluttonous bear. On top of that, he is extremely skilled with his hands. He loves to create things, and he's good at it, too. His best creations are made out of metal, due to his profession as a blacksmith. However, Raev doesn't often allow him near things like welders and forges, so he sticks to lego. One of Raize's strengths is strength itself - he knows how to hold his own in a fight, and he usually has the upper hand. He's also skilled at Scaring people, whether by just being a frightening jerk in general, or by turning into a bear and mauling their faces off. Which brings us to his final and most impressive skill, turning into a bear.

00000ησт тнє grєαтєsт
00000000Raize fears large groups of very angry people, leading him to be very anti social. It's not as though he curls into the fetal position around them. No, quite the opposite. Raize lashes out. His hidden memories of his many not-so-nice encounters with groups of angry men make him instinctively on the defense. He is also kind of a failure at interacting with others, even when he likes them. Alex seems to be the exception, though this is probably because they've already gotten over the awkward 'Raize wants to kill me' stage in another lifetime. He pretty much sucks at listening, too, which means many things. One, if he doesn't want to hear it, he won't. Whether it's an apology or an explanation, if Raize has made up his own explanation for it, then that's the only explanation for it. Two, telling Raize he's 'not allowed' to do things usually ends up with him doing them - and getting into trouble. And, finally, three? Raize has a tendancy to ignore everyone around him, making conversations and interacting nearly impossible. Plus, he misses a lot of important things.
Raize also has a hidden fear of being trapped, whether it is in a situation he cannot fight his way out of or run from, or in an enclosed space. He gets very jittery when placed in a cramped area for long periods of time, and if it's at all possible, bitchier than usual.
The thing he fears most, however, possibly more than being trapped within a crowd of angry people, is losing Alex. That one should be pretty self explanatory.

00000вrιηg ιт ση
00000000Alex is the center of Raize's world, though he doesn't like to admit it, and is downright ashamed of his feelings for the other boy. Things he isn't so ashamed to like include food, of any kind, and heat, of pretty much any temperature. He himself is a fairly warm being, but he loves to be in hot places - like his forge. He also loves to create, be it with his hands, or his mind. He has a secret passion for writing, though he's not very good at that whole 'spelling' thing.

00000∂ση'т єvєη тнιηк αвσυт ιт
00000000Mostly, Raize hates people. It's an instinctive thing, born from his extreme anti-social tendencies and the mistrust bred by his past. Coming a close second to his hatred for the general populace is his hatred for brussel sprouts, because they are unholy constructions of death and nobody should be forced to eat them. Raize doesn't dislike much about food - he's a bottomless pit, with few protests, but he absolutely refuses to eat this green vegetable. He has no great love for his guardian, Raev, because Raev is an a*****e and tries to keep him away from Alex.
He also lacks love for bullies and those who gang up on others. He feels personally insulted when he sees it, as well as angry - because it's happened before, to him. Not that it happens lately. Most kids won't pick on the angry fuzzy one who can also turn into a bear.
Because he hates people, Raize hates socializing and being friendly in general. This attitude doesn't earn him many friends, but he is perfectly content with this. He doesn't want them anyways.

00000вσω тσ тнє мιgнту
00000000Nobody. Raize has no particular religion, and he didn't even when he was in Edenlore.

0000000000ιт ωєηт ℓιкє тнιs000000

00000000Back home in Edenlore, Raize was not what anyone would describe as 'normal'. He was an impling, a race that comes only from Cinnabar - but he was born in Viridian. A little bit of cultural history is needed to explain the severity of this, however. And it begins with the Gods.
When Gaia created Edenlore, she gave a portion of the land to each of her children; Stratus, Ishva, Raev, Korin, and Infer, each a powerful god in their own rite. As the eldest, Stratus was the most knowledgeable and capable of the children, and so she gave him the largest. The rest was divided up fairly equally between the remaining four children. Of course, as with any family, there had always been one child who believed they were being left out.
The 'middle child', Raev always believed he was being passed over by his mother, in favor of her other son and daughters. When she divided the land, he believed he deserved more after years of 'unfair treatment' and tried to steal more from his siblings.
The Gods took sibling bickering to a whole new level. Finally, their mother stepped in - and Raev was punished. Stripped of his powers, his land, and his pride, he was banished from the continent and told never to return.
There was, of course, the small matter of his land to be decided. Gaia chose to divide it up between her remaining children, gifting them each with a portion of it. Not all of it could be given, however, because even while planning his coup, Raev had begun to create his people. His banishment left the unfinished beings to hang in limbo until someone took pity upon them.
That someone, was Gaia. Gaia entrusted the half formed Viridians to the protection of the Totems - animal spirits who were there long before Edenlore was created. As a result, each person who was born in the country was protected by one of the spirits. This became their Totem Spirit, which protected them from birth, till death. The spirit also gifted them with an ability to further protect themselves - the ability to Shift into their Totem's form.
Cinnabar was Infer's region. Infer is the youngest son of Gaia. Legends tell of how the fire God created the first implings out of pieces of the sun, which is said to be the reason why implings hold the gift of wielding fire. It is said that Infer bound himself to Cinnabar's first king in order to help his people with the war against the Illians, Ishva's children, greedy people made of the bone and blood of their aggressive mother. It is also said that Infer is still connected to the royal family, and will take on a new host should the country fall into peril again.

Neither god is to blame for what happened between the countries - that was simply the mortal tendency to fight. The Cinnabarians believed the Viridians to be no more than the animals they transformed into - and the Viridians believed the Cinnabarians to be war-like monsters. Which, they were. The largest technical country on Edenlore, Cinnabar was a war nation, and possessed of the best technology, the largest army, and the most ruthless rulers. Viridian, on the other hand, was the smallest country on Edenlore, with the least technology, the least people, and the smallest army. But, they were considered one of the hardest to kill. Their tendency to turn into frightening beasts was to blame for this - but it did not help them against the Cinnabarians. Their people were persecuted, murdered, and downright slaughtered. The Viridians could not survive an outright war on it's own, so it quickly gained Allies with nearly all of the other countries. Cinnabar could not attack, for fear of angering the rest of Edenlore - and so the longtime feud between the countries was born. Viridians were hated in Cinnabar, and Cinnabarians were hated in Viridian.

This is why Raize's birth rocked the forest nation.
His parents were refugees, fleeing the tyrannical king and queen of Cinnabar in a hope for a more peaceful existence on the eastern coast, in Avaria. Raize's mother was pregnant - and when they finally made it to Viridian, the stress of everything took it's toll on her. She went into an early labour, and died giving birth to her one and only son, Raize Kayl Morrin.
Because he was born in Viridian, and because he was very weak, the Totem spirits chose him to be a host - the host of the Bear Totem. It is, perhaps, the only reason he survived.
With a young babe in tow, his father could not make the long and harsh journey across the Avarian desert. He decided to stay in Viridian, kept refuge by an Avarian woman named Amira Kerr; much to the disgust of her husband, Greyan. He lived in a shed in their back yard until he had created enough of a business as a Hunter to move into a small house in the village.
Life there was not easy for the Impling family. People hated and mistrusted them, with good reason after years of fighting with their people. His son was shunned by the other children, and had very few playmates. The ones he did gain were quickly pulled away by their frightened parents, and no amount of good deeds or kind words would make the long-hurt Viridian elders see otherwise.
Ironically, there was one man who did not fear the Impling family - the king himself, Samson Demira. A fan of meat, in a country populated by Vegetarians (it was hard to hunt when that rabbit you were shooting could possibly be your cousin) Samson required a skilled Hunter - Raize's father, Fisk, was just that man. He quickly became Samson's favorite hunter, and one of the most skilled in Viridian. In time, he was invited to live closer to the castle. Because of this, Raize spent most of his infancy and toddler years with the princess. She didn't seem to care about his race, just that he was fuzzy, soft, and the perfect living teddy bear. She towed him around everywhere, even to the occasional play dates she had with the son of Viridian's Captain of the Guard. Who, incidentally, already knew Raize. Greyan Kerr was not happy that his son, Alistar, was hanging out with the impling child, but he couldn't exactly say 'no' to the commanding princess toddler. So, Raize stayed - but Alistar didn't much like him either. It wasn't as if he had many play dates with the boy, since he was most often training or working with his brother and father.

Kaelie, however, was a fairly good friend to Raize - until, of course, she was inevitably pulled away from play time and play mates to study for her royal duties. He was left alone, again. It was around this time that his father decided he needed something to do.

Raize had always been skilled at fighting. When the village children tried to gang up on him, he had been able to hold his own for quite a while before Shifting. This skill made him a shoo in for the Guard. He worked and trained with a small unit of the Junior Guard, keeping his head down as best he could, what with the Captain hating his guts. He managed to be placed into a small patrol unit of the Guard, and became rather close to his group. He became especially close to a Viper Totem, Sam. Sam was Raize's closest friend, and confidant - and, he was Raize's first kiss. Neither boy had ever really taken an interest in any of the girls that just about threw themselves at the Guard Knights. Their confusion and curiosity, and a couple bottles of rum, lead to a bit of experimentation. And the best part? They liked it.
Sam quickly became closer than just Raize's friend - especially when Raize's father died while hunting. Gored by a boar, who turned out to be more than just an animal, Raize was distraught at his father's murder. It did not go unpunished. Samson made sure to punish the man who had hidden as an animal and attacked the peaceful impling man. But he couldn't do much for Fisk's son. Sam, however, was there for him.
Raize kept the relationship a secret, as did Sam. Being gay wasn't exactly a good thing, in Viridian.
It was even less of a good thing when you raped someone.
Raize never did this; every interaction he had with Sam was consensual - and when they finally decided to try sex together, he made it explicitly clear that he would not do it unless Sam was truly sure that he wanted it. Sam insisted that he did, and when Raize finally relented...well...it was amazing.

Right up until Sam told everyone, and said that Raize had raped him.

Raize was put on trial, and it was not a fair trial. Because he was an Impling, he was treated unfairly - and the verdict was clear from the beginning. He was, in their eyes, guilty. And there was nothing anyone could do about it.

Punishment for people in Viridian was often harsh, and violent. Punishment for rapists was worse. However, as a member of the Guard, he did not get the usual 'dismemberment' and hanging.
No. He got worse.

He was stripped of his rank. Of his humanity. And for the betrayal he had supposedly wreaked on a fellow Guard member, his patrol unit was given the task of punishing him. He begged for Sam to tell them the truth, for him to stop this - but Sam did not. He did, however, take pity on him. They left him alive.
This was possibly worse than killing him.

They beat Raize almost to unconsciousness, then dragged him to the border behind a horse. They carved the brand that marked him as a member of the Guard until it was nearly unrecognizable; and then, mercilessly, they tossed him across the Viridian and Cinnabar border.

He was near death. He was alone. He was in pain, and he was ashamed. He sobbed into the dirt as he lay dying on the ground - and then he blacked out.

When he woke, he wasn't sure of what was going on. He was still in pain, yes. But he was not on the side of a road, nor was he bleeding out on the ground. He was bandaged, in a bed, and almost comfortable. At first, he thought he was dead and in the other world. He tried to sit up. And then an enormous old Impling man came over, slapped him upside the head, and told him to lie the ******** down. As it turned out, he was not in the other world, nor was he dead. Very much alive, he was in Cinnabar, in the care of a man named Addison Varesh. Addison was a blacksmith and an ex pit fighter - a frightening combination. He had found Raize on the side of the road while returning from a delivery, and could not help but take pity on him. He brought the injured man home, tended to his wounds, and fed him.

And then he whipped the self pity out of Raize, the only way he knew how. With an odd combination of hard knocks, gruff words, love, kindness, and forcing him to work in the forge, Addison brought Raize up from the darkness that had all but consumed him after the Viridians had beaten and abandoned him, and made him into a relatively normal person, again. Not that Raize would ever be normal. People here shunned him for the still slightly visible mark of the Viridian Guard on his shoulder - and for the fact that he seemed to be a Viridian in an Impling's body. He could transform into a Bear, like they could, and so the prejudice of 'animal' was placed on him as well. Not, however, by Addison. The old man became as close as a father to Raize, and for many years, Raize lived with him as a son. Addison was old, though; and with age, inevitably, there comes death. Raize was nearly destroyed by the loss of his old mentor. But, at least, he did not lose his home. Addison left the forge to him, and he made a life for himself, alone, on the outskirts of a city. The city, actually. The capitol of Cinnabar.

Had he been anywhere else, he wouldn't have met Alex.

He found the prince, sick, cold, and wet in the rain, hiding in the Slums one frigid night, during a delivery. The mirror to his own past was astounding; and that, combined with a large bag of gold that Alex dangled in his nose, coaxed him into bringing the prince home.
Despite the fact that Raize held no love for the tyrannical royal family of Cinnabar, he found himself enjoying Alex's company. They became friends, oddly enough - and beyond that, they became lovers. After much denial, awkward sexual tension, and a couple arguments, Raize was finally able to come to tentative terms with his sexuality. He was, for the first time in a long time, happy. Sure, he and Alex had to flee the country, at one point - but damn it all, he was happy. Especially in Ronia, the country to which they fled. He and Alex both knew they had to return, however - they could not, in good conscience, leave Cinnabar to Alex's parent's rule. So, they went back, and continued their life in Cinnabar. Less free, but still with Alex, Raize was content.

It was all ripped out from beneath him when a treaty said that Alex would have to marry the princess of Viridian, Kaelie Dimera. His old friend. And his old country, which was once again ruining his life. They had once taken his pride, and his dignity, and nearly his life - and now, they were taking Alex from him.

With no Addison to keep him from it, Raize descended into a spiral of hate and self pity, becoming more gruff and grumpy than usual. In such a mood, to say he was 'unhappy' when Alex showed up at his door with Kaelie would be an understatement. As it turned out, they had run away from their marriage, and would stay in hiding until the countries fixed their issues with a better treaty - one that didn't involve Kaelie and Alex getting married. Raize was less than sympathetic. In fact, he was, flat out, an a*****e. But he could not stay mad at Alex, and Kaelie grew on him. They began a tentative, secretive life in Cinnabar.

Then Kaelie's bodyguard, Alistar, showed up, and ruined it. He chased them down - and after a frightening encounter, he stole Kaelie away, mauled Raize, and tore apart that tentative life. Once again he lay bleeding and torn on the ground. But this time he had Alex; and the fact that Alex was the prince somehow saved him, when it should have damned them both. An Avarian gypsy named Hedge came across them that night. Hedge held a particularly violent hatred for the Cinnibarian royals, for they had murdered the woman he loved. Esme. And now, he thought, he was going to take their prince. His brother Rayne, however, convinced him not to murder Raize and Alex. Instead, he took them hostage, and brought them to the hidden Avarian safe haven, deep underground in Cinnabar. See, Avarians were hunted in Cinnabar for being an 'infestation'. A blight on Avaria was quickly making their land uninhabitable, and so they fled to more habitable land - Cinnabar, however, was having none of it. Gypsies were cruelly prosecuted in Cinnabar - and so, they hid.

Hedge brought Raize down to the gypsy healer, an impling woman named Dusk. She whipped Raize into shape, again. During the time it took for Raize to heal, Kaelie found her way down to the safe haven with an Impling mage named Spark, who had saved her from Alistar. Each member of their oddball group found a new life down in Haven - especially Raize, and Alex. The Avarians had nothing against homosexuality, and when they found out that Raize and Alex were hiding it, they encouraged them to let it show. Raize continued his relationship with Alex, and became happy down in the Haven. He was, finally, accepted. Despite his halfbreed heritage, the Avarian gypsies accepted him. They trusted him when he helped to defend their city, and caught a thief guard of Cinnabar named Tasuku as a prisoner. Tasuku worked in the castle, and was just what Hedge needed to get into the castle, and take his vengeance on the king and queen.

When they finally got in, however, they found out horrible news. The king and queen knew where Haven was, and they were going to destroy it. That wasn't even the worst part.
The worst part was they they were blaming Viridian for Alex's supposed 'death', and unless the Viridians agreed to a treaty which surrendered control of the country to them? They would destroy the country.

A plan was hatched - a dangerous coup, a final and desperate attempt to save Cinnabar from what it was becoming, to save the Avarians, and the Viridians. Between everyone - Alex, Raize, the Gypsies, and a few Viridian Allies, they managed.

Perhaps the most influential ally of all, however, was Infer. The god himself resided within Alex - and it was because of him that they were able to succeed. Alex took the throne, and Raize took a position beside him. They had to hide their relationship, yes; but at least Raize was near. He was Alex's personal guard, and well equipped for the position. He was less than equipped, however, to be Alex's lover. The people expected Alex to produce an heir, and as far as they knew, he couldn't do that with Raize.
Anything is possible, however, with a God on your side.
Through means that Raize doesn't quite understand, Infer took a bit of him, and a bit of Alex, to create life once more. From this came their son. They named him Addison.

As far as Raize knew, life was good. It was better than good. It was wonderful.

0000000000ιт gσєs ℓιкє тнιs000000

As far as Raize knew, life was good. It was better than good. It was wonderful.

Of course, Raize didn't know everything.

He didn't know that another God had entered their lives. A God much more sinister than the fun loving Infer.
Raev.
The banished God had never stopped hating his siblings, and his mother, for what they had done. He hated Stratus the most, but beneath Stratus, he hated the 'mommy's boy' - his youngest brother, Infer. And, since Stratus was in hiding and he couldn't find him to get his vengeance, he decided that Infer would suffer his fury instead.

So, he attached himself to Raize, hoping to take him over and force Infer into control of Alex - and then, he thought, he would kill them both.

Of course, his plans kind of backfired on him when Darcy ripped Alex, and Raize, from Edenlore. Consequentially, she also pulled Raev and Infer, and stripped them of their godhood.

To say the least, Raev wasn't happy.

He became Raize's guardian regardless, hoping to use him to destroy Infer, even in this strange world.
So, as if it wasn't bad enough that Raize had his memories of Edenlore, of Alex, stripped from him? Well, now he has an evil ex-god as a guardian. Things could not get better - well, actually, they could, but he wouldn't know it for some time.

Under the impression that he was a normal kid, Raize was shocked to say the least when he first Shifted into a bear. Raev told him it was a special ability he had on account of being magic - a lie, sort of, but the impling child didn't know that. His Shifting ability had followed him to Gaia.
Despite his ability to Shift, however, Raize continued to live a relatively normal life - until he met Alex.

He was inexplicably drawn to the boy, and felt empty when he wasn't near him. He got headaches if he tried to ignore him, as if his body was trying to punish him, or...or something. So, he became friends with him. Fast friends. Good friends. Which was strange, because Raize never made friends. Ever. Regardless, Alex quickly became his best friend. Everything was fairly normal.

And then the visions started.
Strange dreams, or bouts of unconsciousness - flashbacks of his old life. But, Raize didn't, and doesn't, know what they are. He just knows that they're of him, and of things that have never happened to him, and yet he remembers them happening. He can't go to Raev for an explanation for it - Raev would tease him, or tell him he was a freak.

As if this wasn't bad enough, as he gets older, they get more frequent, more vivid, more...mature. Wet dreams are more like wet memories for him, as a teen - and he knows the person that stars in them. Alex. He will begin to have dreams of his best friend - and this will scare him. A lot.
Raize is not comfortable with is sexuality, neither here, nor in Edenlore. The fact that it's being thrust upon him in a way that he doesn't understand will not make this any better. At all.

On top of all this (Oh yes, it gets better.) as the dreams and flashbacks increase in frequency, Raize will have trouble differentiating between the dreams, and reality. He will place people in his life on Gaia into the memories, subconsciously, to make them easier to deal with. This, however, will make things harder. Especially since he will begin to wonder which is real - this life, or the one he lives in his dreams.

00000000Raev is a very selfish person, who is completely incapable of taking responsibility for his actions. He can, and will, find absolutely anything else to blame things on. For instance - he was hunting Infer when he was dragged to Gaia, and so, as opposed to it being caused by his insatiable need for vengeance, it's all Infer's fault, because if Infer wasn't such a d**k Raev wouldn't have been hunting him in the first place. Which leads us to the next few points of Raev's personality. Jealous, and vengeful, he has quite a temper. And he can hold a grudge for a very long time, letting the temper fester and boil until it becomes worse than before. He is very proud, and maintains a facade of confidence - however, the truth is, he isn't very sure of himself. His belief that his mother never loved him, that she always thought (or knew) that there was something very wrong with him runs deep, and is reflected in everything he does. In a way, he is still trying to prove himself worthy to her, even though he's technically trying to destroy her.

00000cαη'т тσυcн тнιs
00000000Before he came to Gaia, Raev was a force to be reckoned with. Not only could he give and create and shape life - he could also take it away. The closest thing to a god of Death that Edenlore had, Raev developed a way to suck energy and life out of living things, essentially becoming an evil parasite. It was with this ability that he destroyed most of Stratus's land, creating the Avarian desert - and the mystical beasts which roam within. Now, however, Raev's skills are limited to the more...mundane. And he isn't happy about it.
Oddly enough, Raev has a thing for knots. Tying, tangling, untying, untangling, and even (don't tell Infer) knitting all comes very easily to him. He might even like knitting. But he will never admit that to you. And, if he did knit, he would do it with a wool-free fiber, because wool comes from sheep, and sheep are evil. But, I digress. Along with knots, Raev is a capable runner, able to move at fairly respectable speeds, for a mortal. He's deathly silent too, when he moves, making him almost a ninja when he wants to be.
He has retained some of his godly abilities, mainly a knack for absorbing energy - however, the most he can absorb is the equivalent of a small battery. It is, perhaps, enough to power a child's toy, or a very small flashlight - but nothing more.

00000000Raev's greatest weakness is his self-esteem. He gets very angry, very quickly, whenever anyone insults him, specifically if they mention anything about his mother. Raev has deep, dark, and very large mommy issues. As for fears, Raev fears very little. There are only three things, three beings, that he will ever fear. The first, despite the fact that he is the most peaceful of all the gods, is his younger brother Korin. Korin is quet. Korin is kind. But every once in a while, Korin will snap. And when Korin snaps, Korin is scarier than even Illia. Which is the second thing Raev fears. Or, at least, has a healthy respect for. And everyone should, really. Illia is not a Goddess you want to mess with; this is emphasized by the fact that pretty much all of her siblings fear her, and the eldest, Stratus, is her b***h. The final thing that Raev fears, possibly more than Illia...is sheep. There's just...something about their eyes...and this may be heightened by the fact that, on Edenlore, Korin created Sheep.

00000000God help anyone who tells Infer about it, but Raev likes to knit when Raize is out of the house. It's not to make anything, per-se, and he certainly doesn't want doilies and knitted booties, but the repetitive action calms him. He hides his knitting needles, and what may be the longest scarf in existence, in a loose ceiling tile. He also enjoys books, which are the few things which remained constant throughout the worlds. Sure, the languages were a bit different, but he caught on rather quickly.
He also likes quiet, and lives on the theory that children should be seen, and not heard. Actually, he lives on the theory that pretty much everything should be seen, and not heard. The only thing he likes to hear is instrumental music - songs with no words or voices, like Orchestra, certain Jazz songs, and some musical scores from movies. And, above all, Raev likes winning - whether it be at a sport, a contest, or just plain being better than you.

00000000Raev dislikes being wrong; but in his eyes, he's never wrong, so this doesn't bother him often. On top of this, he abhors being ignored, but with Raize as a 'son', he's going to have to deal with it almost daily. It is, of course, tit for tat. It's not like he goes out of his way to pay attention to Raize anyways. He doesn't much like Raize either, considering he's in league with Alex and Infer and is, in Raize's theory, part of the reason he got stuck here in the first place.
A couple things are tied for 'what Raev hates most', however. His eldest brother Stratus is one of them, followed closely by Infer. These two are on his list because they are, as far as he can see, his mother's favorites. Infer's a whiny momma's boy and Stratus is an insufferable know-it-all. Since Edenlore was created, he has not hated anyone more than he hates his siblings for what they did to him. However, a new competitor for said title has appeared - Darcy. For taking him from Edenlore, dumping him with Raize, and stripping him of what little power he had managed to claw back from his siblings, he has sworn to make her pay.

00000000Raev. And, why yes, you're very observant. Raev DOES worship himself; even if he's not, exactly, a God anymore.
