Ukanlos
Nicknames: Uka
Titles: The White God, The Tyrant of Ice, The Embodiment of the Glacier
Size: Very Large
Status Inflictions: Freeze
Weakness: Fire/Thunder
Habitat: Snowy Mountains and Tundra
The Ukanlos closely resembles the Akantor in body shape, size and move set. Its massive serrated Shovel-chin allows the Ukanlos to fling up large chunks of ice and to dig into the frozen icy surface. Once underground the row of large razor sharp fins running along its spine help it to cut through the ice while swimming. An ice beam can be utilized by the Ukanlos which after hitting the surface sends chunks of ice flying, any hunter unlucky enough to get hit by the ice chunks will be frozen in a ball of snow while direct contact with the ice beam itself will be fatal.

Giggi
Nicknames: Giggi Whelp, Sucker, Parasite
Titles: None
Size: Tiny
Status Inflictions: Leech/Poison
Weakness: Fire
Habitat: Almost all
Spawning from large, organic globules in dark caves, they exhibit unique behavior. When the torch is drawn, they retreat in fear; however, when the torch is extinguished, they slowly follow hunters and latch onto them, constantly draining blood, doing damage similar to the poison effect, and must be shaken off. If a Giggi sucks a significant amount of health off the victim, it will be able to do a poison spit. Many hunters find that Giggis are a pain when gathering resources or fighting other monsters. Giggi is able to fight, while Khezu Whelps live inside a carcass until old/big enough, suggesting the Khezu being weaker. Giggi has slimy, near-transluscent skin with visible veins, similar to the Khezu, although Gigginox has a rough, dry skin.

Gigginox
Nicknames: Nox
Titles: The Neon Terror
Size: Medium
Status Inflictions: Poison
Weakness: Fire
Habitat: Tundra
They are related to the Khezu, in that they are a cave dwelling Wyvern. However, they don't sense prey with their nose; Gigginox have a special organ that can detect the body heat of their prey.
They can also attach to the ceilings of caves like the Khezu. In this position they can do a unique attack where they will drag the hunter underneath themselves, then drop down and slowly consume the hunter, unless they are freed by their own effort or with the aid of fellow hunters.
Gigginox are wide and very flat, unlike the Khezu, which is bulky and has large fat reserves. Also, Gigginox does not have highly moisturized skin, and unlike the Khezu, it does not have visible veins. Gigginox is notably much more agile than the Khezu, being able to flip around without difficulty, and being much faster, probably due to their flat body, and their ability to sense body-heat instead of smelling. While the Khezu primarily uses its developed hind legs to leap around or to the ceilings of caves, Gigginox will use all four limbs plus its tail to propel itself, suggesting that the Gigginox's limbs aren't as well developed as the Khezu. Their top skin is grey-white, and their under-skin is dark red. When in rage mode a Gigginox's top color will change to a darker grey. Their head, tail and chest marks are white but have eye-like sections that glow purple when inside dark areas; these markings can be broken. Gigginox have a circular, leech-like maw, which contains many sharp teeth. Gigginox are quadrupedal, like the Tigrex and Nargacuga.
They can spit poison or release it as a form of gas from pores under their body. Gigginox can excrete gelatinous globs that spawn young Giggi or explode into a cloud of poisonous spores.
The Gigginox subspecies is yellow-green in color and, instead of poison, can paralyze its foes.
