 Yes, I know it's spectacular. Welcome to the front courtyard. This is the main one at the entrance of the school. Students often come here to socialize between classes or to play hookey. Some, or most, believe it is the most beautiful at night, when everything is lit up, even inside the fountain. (Fear my incredibly short description.)

Desterey walked over to the fountain in the middle of the courtyard, with his iPod in his hand and only one ear bud in his ear. He sat on the edge of the fountain and started to flip through the playlist he was listening to. He looked around the courtyard and was surprised by how empty it was. Normally there were like at least ten people hanging around and even more passing through cause they were late for class. For the first time while he's been at this school he was all lone and it was nice and quiet besides the music playing in his ear. He sighed softly kind of liking it like this.

She finally met a man that's gonna but her first
While I'm wide awake she's no trouble sleeping

when you're not on the scene
There's a chill in the air
But there's people like me
That nobody sees so nobody cares
Why is it so hard to find someone
who cares about you?
When it's easy enough to find someone
who looks down on you

who can keep it together
when you've come undone? ~*~*~I'll always stand even if I'm standing on my own.Kero walked along the courtyard calmly before stopping at a random spot that she thought no one could see her at, but she was in sight of Desterey. Kero pulled the violin case off of her back and opened it. She picked up her violin and the bow before starting to play it. She was playing a sad and calming song. She swayed back and forth while she played. Once she was done playing. She was about to start another song, but hesitated and looked up at the sky for a while. She sighed softly before looking down at the ground. I just wish there was someone that cared...~*~*~ ~No one cąѓєs to see the pąιη I hide.~

Desterey saw the girl walk into the courtyard and sighed softly hoping she didn't talk to him. He watched her play the violen but couldn't really hear her because of his iPod. He quickly took out the ear bud and turned off his iPod listening to the sad tune. She was actually very good. When she stopped playing he smiled a little. "You're pretty good." He called to her standing up and walking a little closer.

She held her violin and bow by her side and just looked at Desterey for a second. She wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at the moment, but he had given her a compliment. Kero nodded lightly and said, "Thanks." Kero watched Desterey calmly. She had thought that no one could see her, but apparently she had thought wrong. I just wish there was someone that cared...~*~*~ ~No one cąѓєs to see the pąιη I hide.~

Desterey looked at Kero for a little longer before nodding and putting the ear bud back in his ear and turning on his iPod. He waved at Kero and started to walk away from her, his fingers moving liket he was playing the guitar only with out one.

When he waved and walked away, Kero just nodded lightly again before putting her violin up and starting to play the song again. Kero had a soft frown on her face and looked up at the sky. She sighed softly as she played.

She slung the case over her back and decided to go back to her dorm. She'd like to be alone at that moment, but she figured that being around her roommates wouldn't hurt much. She didn't know them very much. Kero sighed again as she glanced at the sky befoe shaking her head and walking to her dorm. Some were busy catching up with friends while others sat alone and played instruments. Conner found an open bench and sat down, opening his book to the first page. If the students were not already familiar with the ever-popular Dr. Morrison, they would have mistaken him for an older student. He wore a pair of jeans that were torn at the knees, a white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and no tie, and black converse. To him, summer was not over.
