Langkston wandered until she found Kyree's tent. She knew now wasn't the time to get the full story on Kyree, but she wanted to let her life long friend know she was there for her. "Uhm.. I dunno how to sharpen these" she said. She dropped the wepons in front of Kyree and sat beside her, wrapping her arm around her to let her know she was always there for her.

Kyree looked at the swords that dropped in front of her."I can do it for you. I'll design them as well." her voice was raspy. Weak. As Langkston wrapped her arm around her, tears flooded her eyes again. "I'm sorry.." she choked back tears. "That I kept this from you for all these years."

"Shhh" Langkston said, rocking Kyree back and forth. "that doesn't matter. I understand why you did it." She held our her handkerchief for Kyree. "I'm sorry about your loss.." She said

Kyree sobbed harder as she gasped for air. "I could have left my duties earlier. And he'd still be here!" she scolded herself. She blamed herself completely for her husband's death.

Langkston hugged Kyree. "Don't you dare blame yourself! You wouldn't have been able to control this even if you had left your duties earlier."

(Ash wanted me to post this, she didn't have time to before she left.)
Kyree shook her head, making her head throb. "I could have." she choked out. Her eyes flared red. She shrugged off Langkston's embrace with almost too much force. "Go." She said through her teeth. Kyree buried her face in her palms, her fingernails scratched at her forehead. She didn't want Langkston to see her true demon form show, but her nails were going black and so was her skin. Even her horns were already sprouting from the top of her head, sending a piercing pain through her skull.
Kyree was a special demon. When she became too upset or angry, her appearance and personality would change completely, just like the Lord would. After all, she was the Lord's daughter.

"No." Langkston said, noticing Kyree's change in appearance. "I don't care what you do to me, you don't need to be alone now. I've been your best friend since you started working for my father and you're going to continue being my best friend. Get over it, I'm staying"

Long, black claws retracted from her fingertips. Her skin was turning pale and grey, black veins coursing through her. She looked down so her hair would cover her face. Kyree wanted to look up at Langkston and hug her, but she just couldn't. "You're putting yourself in danger." her voice was raspy. Frigid tears flooded her eyes but never escaped.

Langkston noticed Kyree becoming more and more intimidating, but she stood her ground. "Kyree I love you, you've been a sister to me all my life. You never walked out on me, so I'm not leaving this tent. Attack me, maul me, rip me to shreds I don't care. You don't need to be alone. You might hurt yourself, which would not help the demons 'cause I know for a fact you kick a**." She said with a chuckle, trying to see if she could calm Kyree's nerves.

Then the tears slowly escaped as a pitch black crawled onto her skin, covering her body with the darkness. All that was visible now was her glowing red eyes and jagged teeth. Before Kyree could attack, three demon soldiers, plus one demon being Riku, burst into the tent. The soldiers came upon Kyree, pinning her down. Kyree flailed her body, letting out a terrible screech that made the soldiers wince.
Riku looked over at Langkston. "It isn't her right now." he said, knowing it may seem vague to her. Kyree snapped at the soldiers, missing by a few inches. The third soldier retrieved a thick needle from his armor that was filled with a glowing white liquid. Riku shook his head. "Don't give her that!" he demanded as he gripped the soldier's arm. The soldier hissed with a devilish grin; that showing a true demon. The soldier hastily shook off Riku's arm and stuck the thick needle into Kyree's waist. "No!" Riku yelled, but it was too late. Riku covered his mouth and took a step back, watching Kyree with sorrowful eyes. The soldiers slowly released their grip as Kyree became quieter. Then they all three left, the one taking the needle with him.
Riku sank to the floor, staring at Langkston, then looking back to Kyree. Kyree lay motionless, breathing with quick short breaths.
