Ko-So-A-Do Words

The こ Series
Demonstrative Pronoun: This one: これ
Demonstrative Adjective: This: この
Location: Here: ここ
Direction (can also be used to refer to people, things, and locations): This way: こちら
Direction (informal): This way: こっち
Kind or Type: This kind of: こんな
Extent: To this extent: こんなに
Manner: (in a manner) like this: こう

The そ Series
Demonstrative Pronoun: That one: それ
Demonstrative Adjective: That: その
Location: There: そこ
Direction (can also be used to refer to people, things, and locations): That way: そちら
Direction (informal): That way: そっち
Kind or Type: That kind of: そんな
Extent: To that extent: そんなに
Manner: (in a manner) like that: そう

The あ Series
Demonstrative Pronoun: That one over there: あれ
Demonstrative Adjective: That over there: あの

Interrogatives

(なに → nani → what)
何か → nani ka → something
何も → nani mo → everything (in a positive sentence) [何 can also be replaced by みんな、みな、すべて、ぜんぶ]
何も → nani mo → nothing (in a negative sentence)
何でも → nan demo → whatever; anything

(だれ → dare → who) [Can be replaced by どなた]
誰か → dare ka → someone
誰も → dare mo → everyone (in a positive sentence) [誰 can also be replaced by みんな、みな)
誰も → dare mo → no one (in a negative sentence)
誰でも → dare demo → anyone; whoever

いつ (itsu → when)
いつか → itsu ka → sometime
いつも → itsu mo → always; all the time (in a positive sentence)
いつも → itsu mo → never (in a negative sentence)
いつでも → itsu demo → anytime; whenever

どこ (doko → where)
どこか → doko ka → somewhere
どこも → doko mo → everywhere (in a positive sentence)
どこも → doko mo → nowhere (in a negative sentence)
どこでも → doko demo → anywhere; wherever

どれ (dore → which)
どれか → dore ka → one of them
どれも → dore mo → all of them (in a positive sentence)
どれも → dore mo → none of them (in a negative sentence)
どれでも → dore demo → any of them

どちら (dochira → which (of two)
どちらか → dochira ka → either of two
どちらも → dochira mo → both of them (in a positive sentence)
どちらも → dochira mo → neither of them (in a negative sentence)
どちらでも → dochira demo → either of them
