Herbivore
Herbivores are weak monsters that eat vegetation from grass or trees instead of hunting for meat. They are usually docile monsters which may attack or run away if threatened. They range in many different sizes and species. Although they are all in the same group, many of the species are not closely related to each other.

Aptonoth
Nicknames: None
Titles: None
Size: Medium
Status Inflictions: None
Weakness: Fire
Habitat: Almost all
The Aptonoth is a common Herbivore monster with dark gray skin and black stripes along its back. It has one large horn/plate on its head. They are the cousins of the more aggressive Apceros. These weak monsters pose no threat to hunters.
These docile creatures are hunted by humans and other monsters for their meat. They always travel in groups. When one Aptonoth is threatened, others will run away for safety, but the alpha male of the Aptonoth group fights back and then leaves. These weak monsters are at the bottom of the food chain. They migrate in spring-time lands, like Forests and Swamps. They are much more alert and able to stand up on their hind legs for brief periods. They have also been observed to lie down when not under threat. They will stand on their hind legs and roar, as well as walk much faster, whenever a predator is a single area away. If a predator is in the same area, they will be extremely restless, groan, and move around very frequently, but will not leave the area until that predator is close-by.
Aptonoth can be utilized by people to haul carts.

These monsters are also known to easily trick new hunters, as they walk extremely slow, but can easily knock over a hunter and do hefty damage.
