A quaint and comfortable one bedroom and one bathroom apartment. Loykol stays here on the rare occasion that he's not working on a contract kill.

Loykol sat in the large reclining hover chair in his apartment, looking out the window blankly. "Hmmm.... No contracts today.... C-Sec must be getting better at keeping thier peace..." he said to himself hin his low, somewhat croaking voice. Standing up and walking to the window, looking out into the Ward below, "It won't be long... until they have no need for me..." he mused, rubbing his scaled chin, where a neck flap was starting to descend from below is chin. "Time for new lodgings to be looked into."

A knock was at the door of the apartment, and a Salarian could be heard talking to a Volus. "Trust me Din, i've checked with C-sec, and they shouldn't be needing him for some time." "I suppose it couldn't hurt to check, at least before we tell our boss about what happened, he might not like us bringing an outsider to our facility." "Then we won't tell him unless this guy gets killied, you're such a wimp sometimes, wheres your sense of independence? Or did you sell that?"

Loykol turned to the sounds of the voices of a Salarian and a Volus speaking outside his door. Whispers of his death put him on edge, causing him to reach for his M-9 Tempest at his belt. Grasping the weapon and pulling it from his belt, the weapon unfolded in his hand. Loykol walked to the door with the weapon behind his back, and opened the door when he reached it. "Yes?" he asked them in his low croaking voice, eyeing them suspiciously

The Salarian almost lept backwards when Loykol opened the door. "Oh you're here, good, we work for the Grey Wing merc-band, and we were hoping you could help us with something of great importantce. May we come inside, its not something we would like to talk about in the open." The two of them looked uneasy, but they were clearly in need of help if they were coming to an independant assassin, rather than their employers.

Loycol shifted his large, black eyes back, then forth between the Salarian and the Volus, examining them for anything suspicious. "The Volus waits outside. Only the Salarain may enter." he said to them, opening the door for the Salarian. Loykol never trusted the Volus, he barely trusted Salarians, but that was still more than he trusted the Volus. "Please make this matter quick, you interrupted my meditations."

((Gotcha.))
"Of course." The Salarian hastily entered, leaving the uneasy Volus in the hall. "We work on a station called "Tartarus", its used to test and upgrade tech for the Grey Wings, recently we were attacked by Eclipse mercs. I can't imagine what would happen if they got a hold of that tech."

Loykol closed the door on the Volus and brightened the lights in his apartment as the Salarian spoke. "What does this mean to me? If the Grey Wing Mercs didn't hire the Volus into their ranks as troops then maybe you would be able to fend for yourselves." he said to the Salarian, examining the creature for any sign of lies. Loykol kept his M-9 Tempest in ihs hand behind his back. "What's in it for me? Surely there is no hunt, and therefore no fun in it for me." Loykol continued, his Black eyes narrowing at the Salarian. "I've killed more than my fair share of Eclipse, they are weak and unorganized. Why is it that the Grey Wings can't handle themselves against the yellow clad fledglings that make up the Eclipse? You haven't even told me your name."

"Its standard procedure to only give our names to people we're working with. And we don't hire Volus as soldiers, the individual is hired for their skills, Din isn't a sodier he checks incoming tech. We haven't sent our own soldiers to save the station because this whole thing was my fault, i'm not going to cause more casualties than I already have. Stupid...stupid...stupid. Please help me, i'll be paying out of pocket rather than out of our group's funds, so it won't be much more than your average pay."

Loykol cocked one scaled eyebrow at the Salarian, his grip on his Tempest tightening slightly. "Who is your Leader then, Salarian...." he said to the Salarian, whipping his Submachine gun out and pointing it directly at the creatures head. "You come to my home, Ask for help... and then not tell me your name..." his finger tightened around the trigger slightly, and a small smirk appeared on his thin green lips. Pulling the Submachine gun down, "I like you Salarian... and I will help you."

The Salarian, who has a slight chance becoming an actual character instead of someone to move the story along, fell to his knees with joy and was only able to stay up by grabbing onto Loykol's shoulders. "Thank you so much, we have a shuttle...right this way." The volus ooked up at them, having started teaching several children outside how to play Skyllian Five, essentially poker. "I take it you managed to hire him. Okay kids, just remember what I taught you and that gambling may be fun but don't try to make your living off it." The trio left the Citadel on the previously mentioned shuttle.

Loycol grabbed his other weapons before they left. He was immensly disturbed by the Salarians joy and expression of it. He was only helping him clean up his mess, no need to get affectionate. "Such a stange Salarian." He thought as they embarked on their journey.
