"So... it would seem..." Mordi responded to the mermaid princess before her. "I suppose... Fate did us both a favor..." She said in agreement. Ah, fate... what a concept it was. Did it exist? That wasn't particularly relevant to the conversation, but... "Ah... thank you. I... may take you up on that. Serenity Island... Mordi has... been there before." A very beautiful place to be, and a perfect place for a person like Azura to live, perhaps. "Though it might... be fun... to go to cities from time-to-time... you never know... what kind of people you'll meet." Was she really saying this? How many times had she been told this exact thing and written it off? Going into public places... she had once been rather revolted at the idea. She still wasn't exactly thrilled with it, but... there was merit to the argument, at least. "Maybe... you could make... more interesting friends than Mordi." At the very least she didn't see how anyone could find her particularly interesting, aside from her status and powers. She wasn't very good at conversation... "G-go near the ocean...? U-um... I don' t think so. Even if Mordi could breathe... it would be terrifying..." It might not be all bad, but... again... Mordi had a tenancy to sink. And falling into the deep ocean was not something she found enjoyable. Not that that was terribly likely to happen, but... still! "Mordi... likes to play with mud. I can... make mud dolls. I can also... shift sand around... and make things with it. Mordi... is okay at... making things out of dirt." Dirt, mud, sand--anything that qualified as earth was Mordi's field of expertise, even without considering her earth powers. "Not very... fitting for a goddess... but Mordi is Mordi. I... didn't change too much... after my ascension." Aside from ridding herself of her severe depression, which was quite the positive change indeed.
"...." Artemis's focus was on his mother and his girlfriend for several moments as the two had their little scene. He paused for a moment, before standing from his seat taking a few steps forward. "I love you, mother. I deeply appreciate that you came here to celebrate my birthday. However... with all due respect, that test is not your place to give." His tone was sincere, but it seemed he was rather unhappy with her behavior. "I understand what you're doing--I appreciate it--but you will not look upon Kana as a Reaper and nothing else. She is a Reaper, and she is also the woman I love. What she is has nothing to do with who she is. I hope that you can all come to see that one day." He slightly bowed respectfully towards his mother. "I shall take my leave now. I would rather spend this day alone with Kana. I apologize to leave in the middle of the celebration. Aven, I would appreciate saving me some of the cake--that you made it means it must be enjoyable." He wasn't angry at his mother per se, but anytime Kana felt as though she were being attacked due to what she was, he would always come to her defense. He loved her, and he would always protect her when possible. He turned away now, taking Kana gently by the hand, and vanishing along with her...
"HAHHSHAHHHAAHSYGAHA!" Meanwhile, completely oblivious to the slight disagreement that had just transpired, the other birthday boy seemed to be having some fun with his own brown-haired girlfriend. "You're open!!" He pushed his weight into her to cause her to fall over onto her back, and of course, it would end with him on her. "HahahaAHHA! The poncer becomes the pouncee! How does it feel?! AHAHAHAHHA! YOU WILL LAUGH UNTIL YOU SUBMIT!!" This was... quite the scene. Lily was always pouncing him down onto his back like this, so this was great revenge! ...But of course, Blaze REALLY loved it when she pounced him, as she well knew. So maybe revenge wasn't quite the right word, but even so. Become my slave for the day and maybe I'll relent!! SUBMIT, MY CUTE WOLFY GIRLFRIEND! BECOME MY PET! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAAH!! Even Blaze seemed to realize he probably shouldn't shout that one out for everyone to hear...

"I suppose I should not be to surprised about that.." Being a goddess and all, she probably had no problem getting around, and then of course her connection with the earth. Yes, that must have been some kind of fun, getting around so easily! Azura didn't mind having to swim to get to any kind of civilization though. It would be strange if such a thing did bother her! "Do you like it? Feel free to make yourself at my home if you are there during my absence. " It was the only home on the entire island, she figured she knew that too! There was no locked doors, so she could just enter without any trouble. Crime wasn't a big thing on the lone island! "Hmm.." Azura paused, giving a moments thought of what Mordi had to say next. "I'm certain I know what kind of people I will meet there.." Hordes of angry mobs wanting her head on a platter. "I've done well my entire life like this..I never had a lot of friends, and i'm okay with that. I am however, very happy to have met you. But if you speak ill of yourself like that again, I might have to show you a closer look of the ocean.." She smiled innocently, clearly playing, just a playful warning not to put herself below others. "Now, about that...I could give you that ability, and if you truly one day want to see what it is like, you just hold onto my hand the entire time. You won't sink and nothing bad will happen.I may not be much on land, but at sea, my powers will surly protect you. "
"Or we can do that! ...oh, maybe you can help me build secret tunnel...every time I get it near half done, it begins to rain, or a unsuspecting wave will take it back down! Nature is against me! " Azura DID have a small goofy side, it wasn't often seen, because she only really showed that side of her when she was alone at her little island! "Is there some rule that says a Goddess can't enjoy playing in the dirt? Or a princess playing in the sand? I wouldn't worry if there was and you shouldn't ether. Stay yourself and don't let anyone else make you think you should be any different. "

Besides Mordi,Azura and Lily and Blaze, who were off in their own worlds, the center of the party had suddenly grown very quiet. Phoenix was even stuck in a rare silence. She messed this up pretty badly, didn't she? By the time she had any ability to speak again, Artemis had escaped with Kana, and suddenly she felt the guilt creep up on her. She didn't last even five minutes before one of her sons had to escape her! "Not my place to give..." She was his mother, he wasn't quite an adult. Being in love didn't mean he was free and clear of his mother. "..." With a heavy sigh, she took one glance toward Blaze, these girlfriends were taking away her sons...it was...bothersome.."Before I ruin his too, I'll take my leave. " Probably her best idea. Without another word, Phoenix was gone from the sanctuary, to return to her time.
It seemed the only laughter in the sanctuary was now coming from both Blaze and Lily. The lively terrors of the world, they were. Even if Lily wasn't quite the crazy one today, Blaze knew her weakness well,going for the tickle-attack. How could she resist that! No one could! ..Okay, maybe Sephiroth could. But who ever got the chance to try? They probably would be armless if they tried such a silly thing on him. Lily was then surprised to find herself as the victim of a Blazie pounce, rarely did she ever become the pouncee! It was that, that made her laughter a little more intensified in conjunction with his endless tickling! "Ahh!! Ahahaha!! Okay! Okaaaay! Stoooop!! " She tried to say in between hysterical laughter. "Slave?? Umm...Okay, if that's what you want me to do..Its your special day. I'll be happy to do whatever you like!" She didn't actually mean that in a bad way, but who knew how Blaze might read into it!
