A friend gave me a whole stack of these sachet thing of what we assume is Miso soup.
But it's all written in Japanese, so I have no idea what it is or how to make it.
this is what it says:

On the front:
わかめ汁

On the back:
わかめとだし入りのみそ汁です。

熱湯(お椀八分目約160ml)を汪ぐだけで、手軽においしいみそ汁が召しあがれます。

Sorry it's not in romanji, but I don't know the Kanji translations

I think it says something like this: ([] is kanji translation)

wakanetodashi [enter?] rino miso [soup] desu
[boil water?] (o [bowl][8 degrees?][?][?] 160ml) wo [?] gudakede, [hand][?] nioishii miso [soup] ga [drink?] shiagaremasu

If any one can understand that (what I've done above), if anyone can read it or know what to do with the sachet, please reply or pm me

"Wakame Soup"

"This is Wakame with Dashi Miso"

"Mix with hot water (can make about 8 160ml bowls), and enjoy delicious miso.

"wakamejiru"
"wakame to dashi-iri no misoshiru desu."
"nettou (o-wan hachibun-me yaku 160ml) wo *sosogu dakede, tekaru ni oishii miso shiru ga meshiagaremasu."

I'm not sure about the "ougu", the kanji by itself is not in my dictionary.
*corrected

The kanji followed by the "gu" is read "sosogu", meaning "to pour".

Ahhh thanks. Hmm I wonder my dictionary only put the on-yomi. o_O

Edit* AHHH I see the mistake, her print had left out the little "ten" on top of "ou"! stressed

The most popular brand is "EX-word" but I think you can only get them in Japan... they are around $200-300 but I think they are more closer to $300, the newer ones at least, mine is about 5 years old but it still works great. The only difference in the newer ones I think is that you can scroll faster, the menu is more neater, etc..

I don't really like miso soup... and I'm not good at Japanese, I have so much to learn! Sorry, I can't help you there...
