((Because it could be fun? Paintball bwahaha!!))
In the spirit of being friendly Mitsu had tried her best to include Nyx in activities and hanging out, though it was evident after a while Shun and the girl didn't quite get along. But Mitsu was still hopefully they could all be friends so once again when she had a day off she offered to hang out with Nyx, only this time there was a stipulation. Nyx got to pick the activity. Mitsu had wholeheartedly agreed before she knew what she was getting into, especially when Nyx suggested paintball.
Having never played it before Mitsu didn't see anything wrong with the suggestion and got the place and time. Figuring it would make for a good group activity she threw out the invitation to others to see who wanted to play. It was taking place at an outdoor paintball area, full of trees and obstacles. For those who didn't have any paintball equipment there was stuff to rent for the day as well as boxes of paintballs to go with the purchase of their day pass.
As per Nyx's suggestion Mitsu had worn older clothes, long sleeves to cover her arms, jeans, and boots. The weather was still a little cool so she had a jacket on as well. "So what exactly do you do in paintball?" Mitsu asked looking over the equipment set up behind the counter at the main lodge.
"Well, depending on the game you may be on your own or have a team. You want to hit the other people to get them out of the game. If you are hit and the paintball breaks, your out. Pretty simple." Nyx had her own equipment and had brought an extra gun for Mitsu to use. At the moment she was making sure the barrel was clean and the parts were all in working order before she handed it over to the girl. "You may want to go rent a helmet from the lady over there." Nyx suggested as she tightened down the hopper and grabbed a co2 canister from her bag.
"Oh...okay," Mitsu guessed that made sense, you wouldn't want paint in your eye after all. Moving over to the counter Mitsu looked over the helmets they had wondering what she should get. They had a wide variety of padding and thick jackets....it wasn't that bad was it?

Paintball sounded rather fun actually. However, Shun was not so thrilled that Nyx of all people would be a part of this outing. He was also worried for Mitsu's sake since she seemed so fragile, and this wasn't exactly a light activity by any means. Getting shot stung, and he wasn't sure how she would take that.
Still, he showed up, being more concerned for her wellbeing than spiteful of Nyx.
He had his own gear, as paintball did serve as a means for training at times...
"Anyone else coming?" he asked as he came up to Mitsu who seemed to be grabbing a helmet from the lady at the counter, "You.. might want to get one of those jackets too."

"I'm not sure who all will show up," Mitsu shrugged taking the helmet the lady running the counter was handing her. Looking to the jackets Mitsu frowned. "Do you think I'll need one?" She had a jacket, though it wasn't anything thick like the padded jackets they had here.
"Bah, you should be fine," Nyx seemed to welcome herself into the conversation as she handed Mitsu her paintball gun. It was a rather nice looking piece if not a little ....real looking.
"Oh, thanks," Taking the gun Mitsu realized quickly it was a little heavier than it looked. It seemed Nyx had it ready to go, the hopper already loaded with paintballs.
"I'm sure Smiles will show you how to shot." Nyx said as she took up the strap of her own paintball gun and threw it over her shoulder. It was rather real looking too and she even had a small hand gun at her side.
