What did it do to not let you progress without it? I haven't tried yet, but I get the feeling I can just leave the guy in the Pokémon Center and ignore it forever. I could be wrong though. All I know is he just whines when I say no to him and let's me leave. But then, they changed a lot in the remakes.

I said no, left him in the Mart, then headed out on route 32, but the guy who won't let you pass unless you beat falkner also won;t let you pass until you accept the egg... :C

Oh noes! I get the feeling that the sadness will make me sad too...and is it possible to deposit the egg in the box? If so, that's what I'll do if they try to make me take it.
And sheesh, your battle with Falkner was WAY easier than mine was. Maybe you just leveled more. I think my people were only level 11. Then again, In HG/SS, Falkner's Pokémon are higher level than in Crystal too.

I leveled everyone to 15, plus rock throw is super effective. > 3>

I'm considering calling off my comic... I cant' seem to find inspiration to continue it... I've tried doing the next page several times and each time I do one frame and then get pissy and quit.
