I've been watching a lot of videos from the parks and personally I think Halloween is the best time to visit... you get to meet a lot of the villains and the shows are just so much fun!

You guys should check out some of the shows; you can easily find them on youtube.

At Disney World there's the 'Disney Villains Mix and Mingle'; older versions will have Frollo but he's recently been replaced by Dr. Facilier. And there's the 'Boo to you Parade' too.

At Disneyland Paris there's the 'Halloween Showtime'; a day-time show with Minnie and various villains, older versions will have Maleficent, newer version has Dr. Facilier. 'Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Show' which is a night-time show with Mickey, various other Disney characters (including Clopin!) and the villains and also they have a car parade afterwards.

I know I posted this in the other topic too... and yet... Frollo likes candy.

I really want to meet some of the villains~

What do you guys think? Ever been to one of the parks at halloween? Know of any other good shows etc?

Also all these shows about the villains makes me want to do a Disney Villain role-play of some sort...

Anyways there are a lot of cool and funny videos involving characters at the parks in general too! Know any good ones? I especially like it when various characters interact with each other... ESPECIALLY if they're from different movies. ^_^

PS. Xan! I want to visit DLP during the Halloween season!

I hope to go for Halloween for some time. I've been there (only DW US) in Nov. the last two times, but all that's up is Christmas stuff. Still cool, though. XD

And I'm obsessed with the parks too, but I've only been to Disney World.

Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party is definitely one of my favorite special events that Disney World provides. The Boo to You Parade is my favorites simply since I adore the headless horseman that seriously books it at the front of the parade and the Haunted Mansion float that is beyond amazing.

Not to mention it is the only time that the older park attendees are allowed to wear Disney costumes which is a giant plus since it makes it a ton of fun.

If I remember correctly... there was Christmas stuff up when I went to WDW the second time in November 2001... oh geez... that was so long ago now.

Ah yes; Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Party looks really fun; DLP have recently started doing it too which is awesome.

One of my biggest dreams is to go to Disney World during Halloween and see the Haunted Mansion decked as The Nightmare Before Christmas!!!! heart

I went to Disneyland during Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving!) once and they had the Haunted Mansion all decked out for Halloween. It was definitely a cool experience! The whole park was decorated for Halloween and it was really neat to see! I definitely recommend going in October!

Unfortantly there wasn't a trip I could find to go on Halloween to Paris. However we might still be going in Febuary... I'm not sure... but its kinda close to the 20th anniversary of the park and there's rumors of new rides and stuff.

But anyhow I'd love to go on TNBC version of Haunted Mansion... even though I love the usual mansion. XD Though... only been on the ones in Florida and Paris.

The only time I ever go to DL is in Nov, so the halloween stuff is mostly taken down, but the Haunted Mansion stays up till the winter holidays so thats the only thing I've ever experienced. It's fun tho.

@Azure: I imagine the ones in Florida and California are quite similar! I've never been to Disney Paris, but I'd loooove to go! Also, I'm super jealous if you're going in February! I'll (hopefully) be off to school next fall so I won't be taking any fancy trips for a while!

@netherfreak: I had no idea the Haunted Mansion stayed decorated after Halloween, though it does make sense! As for all the other Halloween stuff, it was mostly decorated gardens and some Halloween themed souvenirs so you didn't miss too much!

Even though my type of halloween is like something universal studios has every year at there park would love to chek out Disney at halloween time myself as I love the combination of disney and halloween
