Some would argue that the young woman was scantily clad, though her flesh baring garb always covered her appropriately, her manner of dressing was simply to please herself and her own taste, she did not dress as she did for others so other's opinions mattered little to her. She usually wore a pair of heels to add a bit of height because she considered herself to be somewhat vertically challenged but the favored dainty footwear was most inappropriate for her current surroundings, instead heavy hiking boots rested upon small, tender feet. Slender fingers wrapped around the straps of her backpack to ease the load on her back, said bag was stuffed with a few changes of clothes, couple pair of shoes, various beauty and hygiene supplies and small but precious knick-knacks, due to certain circumstances a few years ago she had learned to travel relatively light. Long hair was pulled back, though now and then she would give a small but quick flick of her head to the side to get her bangs out of her eyes, sometimes she just huffed at the short hair in annoyance.
She knew not where she was going, simply going with the wind as it were, though she was starting to question her sanity as she strolled through a town that had been long deserted as far as she could tell. Though off in the distance she could see the light of small clusters of fire, not very large but visible, she concluded that they must be torches. "Someone had to light those.." she thought to herself as she paused and allowed her gaze to slowly travel upwards, the light seemed to be guiding travelers up towards a rather baleful looking castle.
The sight alone had her conscience screaming at her, willing her to turn back and return to the town she had just ventured from, the one she knew offered safety. Though her dwindling energy levels aided her curiosity in drowning out the little voice of warning, she pressed onwards, eager to see what kind of beings resided in such a setting.
