It isn't a big deal to me.
In fact I think it is pretty stupid and immature to get butt hurt over how someone types.
If you don't like it simply don't talk to that person or ignore them.
Problem solved.

Best ******** post in this thread so far.

I have to wonder how dyslexic people are able to hold up with people acting in such a manner. It's kind of obscene how much of a s**t is given over something so minuscule.

As long as it's not 1337 language, I'm good.

So long as I can read what they're saying, it's fine

I'm not a grammar Nazi, but there are some mistakes that bother me such as the use of "your" instead of "you're" and the infamous "loose" instead of "lose", not that I would do anything about it.

That last one, which is vastly used ,made me doubt my knowledge of English since it's my third language (After Arabic and French) that I even went and looked both the words up to see if I was the one who was wrong.

I think that "Ethereal Cereal" doesn't mean dyslexic people (this deficiency has to do with reading not writing), I had a low level of dysgraphia (This is the one that makes you not able to spell correctly and have difficulties writing) for years, but I double check on what I write. I think people with that deficiency are the only ones excused for typing in a somewhat irregular way.

But I see no excuse for regular people to commit such mistakes. I usually tend to ignore people who type that way, I don't correct them but I don't have more than a short conversation with them.

I know of some people who are dyslexic (or claim to be) and have an issue with typing. One of 'em is a good friend of mine.

My teacher is dyslexic and switches letters, words, sentences, and the such when she writes or types. It's not confined to only reading.

As for the OP, as long as I can reward it, I'm fine. But if I can't, I see no point with talking to that person, anyways. I just find it annoying when they tack noob onto terribly typing skills.

Not so much on Gaia, but actually on Facebook is when I get annoyed.
I have friends that type in unreadable chat speak all the time. When I can't read it, and misinterpret what they wrote, they get mad. So that's only when I get annoyed.
Otherwise, I tend to ignore posts on Gaia that I can't understand. xD
