And so here it is. I'd been wondering if I should screencap the ending, and I felt like the LP wouldn't be complete without it.
So, it's time to show the conclusion of our heroes' tales.

Like a true leader and General, Celes prompts the group to pull together in their escape! biggrin

Hold on, Terra. D: I didn't want to play this far to see you go...

Just as we thought, our awesome magicite are about to go bye-bye. It's so sad to see our lifelong companions go...

No, don't say "last!" That's a terrible word, that's what characters say before they die! D:

And then a book appears. Is this where they say "the end" and leave us as a cliffhanger?
... Nope! Made ya look.

Actually, the ending features fancy character titles, and their own little scenarios for the story's conclusion. I tried to capture them the best I could, but this is best seen in animation. The first up, Cyan!

"You handle the switch, Edgar! You're the engineer!"

I know what you mean, Cyan. I've had to show my computer who's boss many times over! D<

Time for the gamblin' man's story. o:

By luck, he chose the right door to save his comrades! Just like him to say that "luck" determines things.

You know that the twins' ending was the one I've been waiting for!

Aww, Sabin finally tells the reason why he ran away, as he saves Edgar. C:

... Sniff... Gosh, it's so sentimental and cute that I just want to ... -has no words and just gushes at this moment-

What scene is there for our SLAM DANCIN' moogle? ;D

He went and danced himself off a cliff. ._.

That's okay though! heart Edgar's totally got this. cool

Umaro was part of the party (even if he wasn't a part of mine), so I guess he deserves a scene too.

You know what they always say! "If there isn't a door, you make one!"

Now Gogo's gonna copy the others and get an ending scene too. rofl

By Setzer's suggestion, they end up pressing the switches, but then Gogo falls into a hole walking the same path as Celes. So messed up. D:

And now our wild child gets a day in the limelight.

His "short cut" is riding down the rocks! 8D Gau, you're so awesome.

And of course these two are going to have an ending scene together. >>;

And of course Celes is the one falling, while Locke's holding on. It's so he can finally get over his fear of pulling someone up from high ledges! 8D

And where would we be without Terra? We started the game with her, and now we're ending the game with her. Let's just hope it won't be her end.

Oh, so maybe Terra won't disappear! She's still got something to hold on to, right?

The best mage in the game has earned her place in the ending-scene order!

And with her crude words, she pulls the old man back from being taken by a conveyor belt. Her language might be harsh, but she's got such a good heart. heart

What kind of scene awaits our mysterious ninja?

Shadow, what do you think you're doin'? Go on and follow the others and your dog! D:

I didn't know how to trigger Shadow's flashback dreams, but Baram was his old partner. I wonder what he means by "starting anew", he's staying behind... ... :<

And finally, Strago's ending scene!

After a few jumps, he finally grabs onto the hook leading to the airship! That's the way!

And me? Do I get a scene? ... No, I'm not a character in the game, so just imagine me celebrating my victory to this song.

Terra's esper form is fading away! Is she really going to be gone? D:

We have airship turbulence, and a cliffhanger on board!

Thanks to Setzer's smooth flyin', Terra was saved when she fell out of the sky! I knew this would have a happy ending...

Another thanks to the awesome guy who created the musical score for this masterpiece. You rock, Uematsu! heart

What a beautiful sight, of the Falcon soaring above the clear blue seas...

And where would this game's humor be without our beloved translator, Ted Woosley? Some of FF VI's best jokes are thanks to this man! Kudos!

Look! Even though Edgar stepped on the seedling, it still sprouted!

Chancellor: Yo, Edgar, Sabin! Let's have a party and get drunk now! 8D

And at long last, Terra lets her hair free! She's as free as a bird now... ♫

And the airship crew takes one more cruise in the new, peaceful skies.

And that's all she wrote!
I'd like to thank everyone in this guild (and other readers as well) for all your support. I would not have finished this if it wasn't for your encouraging words and at times, kicking me into action so I could actually finish. It has been a joy and an honor doing this LP. I was glad to share one of my childhood joys with others who either have nostalgia, or are looking at this gem of a video game for the very first time.
Again, I give you my thanks, dear readers. Through technology fails, lost flash drives, save state horrors and just plain IRL drama, I was able to bring you a LP commentary that hopefully helped along with game play too! FF VI is and always will be one of my favorite games of all time.
Finishing will be bittersweet. I'm glad to show this game in its completion, but I'll miss the FF VI crew's adventures. Some day, I'll return to this world, because it inevitably calls me back. :3
I hope you've all enjoyed reading this as much as I've enjoyed writing it.
Peace out,
