The Slam S.O.S...
San Leandro Academy of Multimedia Season Of Service
...Is a season from January to March that Slam dedicates itself to raising awareness about multiple forms of violence that happen in out daily lives. We make Photography, Animations, Movies, Music, and other forms of art to hopefully show the school and world that Violence is not okay and we should all accept people for who they are and what they are.
The theme this year is:
Share the differences, accept the exceptions~
We are focusing on:
-Outcasting
-Name calling
-Cyber bulling
-Labeling
-Homophobia
-Racism
-Antisemitism
-Fighting

We want to change our school for the better but we want to change the world. We can't do that without your help. So spread the word. Help someone that is getting picked on. Get a teacher to stop a fight. Talk to a loner. Make art and post in around your area. And reform yourself. Take a vow of non-violence and acceptance.
