"Unfortunately, I doubt you would have survived ten very skilled assassins chasing after you with the intent to murder, especially not if you knew who they really were. Not to mention taking down several men before that, all with the intent to kill, but not as much as the assassins." Audra returned, blatantly ignoring the rest of Triton's remarks as she walked away.
There were more important matters now, especially since Shadow was here. Perhaps he was after what Triton was? Entirely possible wasn't it? Audra silently stalked him as he went around cautiously, until they headed back into the room where Audra and Triton had their little chat.
Why did this suddenly feel like a wild goose chase? Silently, she slid a dart from a pouch around her waist and aimed carefully. It was small and light, meant for killing by poison or other means as opposed to being big and tough enough to penetrate a man's chest. The dart had been dipped in a sleeping concoction that could knock out any man in seconds, irregardless of his size, weight or stature. She had but a few of these left, and she couldn't afford to waste them. Taking careful aim, she threw it and watched as it hits its mark.
Shadow crumpled before her as she hurriedly went to tie him up, making a series of complicated knots that were almost impossible to undo unless one had a knife or a dagger. Quickly, she frisked him to remove anything he could potentially use as a weapon or to free himself before dragging him into the middle of the room unceremoniously, where he lay like a limp rag. He ought to come round after an hour or so, by Audra's estimation. The drug was potent in its effects.
"So Triton dearie, while the world would miss you, I wouldn't. In fact, I could just as well kill you here. No one would know. After all, we are in the middle of nowhere." Audra smiled at him. It was a sadistic smile, one that said she could very well hurt him if she wanted to. She was tired, but not that tired. Retrieving the box from her potion pouch, she lifted it for Triton to see. "Looking for this?" She inquired sweetly, tilting her head slightly to the side, a smirk on her face. Idly, she examined it once more even as she kept an eye on Shadow as well as Triton. No sense in trusting either or them, as she was certain one or the other would stab her in the back as soon as they could.

"Tsk, you say that so sweetly, I doubt you mean it though. In fact I'm sure you'd miss me Audra love. Besides..even if no one else in the world would know you did it, you would still know, and I would know." Triton twisted around, abandoning his search for a few moments to watch the skilled woman work, it was actually quite sexy; to stand back and watch her tie up the helplessly downed man. Poor little shadow..he should have kept running...
Mnn-mnn..the things she could do with knots and rope though. Of course he'd rather burn his own hair off then give her a chance to try out her 'skills' on him."And who knows, maybe I'd come back as a poe and haunt you for all eternity!" Triton laughed darkly at the thought, his grin and laugh suddenly cut off at the new sight before him.
"Give it" Tritons voice hard, and look a bit feral. Much like a cat who'd just spied his missing bowl of cream, and was quite hungry to get his paws on it. "I like you Audra, truly I do, and because I do, you'll give it over wont you?" Triton tried to sweeten his voice and not choke on the utter lie of his words, practically purring as he inched closer to her. He wasn't sure if it was what he was looking for, but it was close enough..small, compact..holding something, something that had needed to be locked up. Treasure.
"I'll make it worth your while to do it even. I've got Kaiba here..the b*****d that he is he's also very useful. He's got a very special talent that makes it oh so fun to look into a persons head. Depending on what your looking for of course." Triton grinned like a shark, ignoring Kaibas suddenly irritated form coming into appearance behind him; the poes bright golden eyes glaring at the two of them. He was not at all intrigued by this proposition.

Flashing him a lovely smile that made her look angelic, Audra's next words were anything but pleasant. "Yes, but unfortunately to prove it you'd have to be alive, and I'll make sure I call everyone to the town square while I rip out your entrails and you can proclaim your undying love." Flicking back the strands of hair that had come loose, she faced Triton, box firmly in her hand.
"Unfortunately, I'm not just handing it over like that." She smirked. "Plus, I'd hurt you even if you came back as a poe. I already threatened your poe, and don't think I won't do it with you." She shrugged nonchalantly. "I wonder what's in this box." She mused, rattling it a little. "And please, have some pride and stop lying. I know I get on your nerves as much as you do mine." She smiled at him, bitter hatred in her eyes.
"You see, you have no idea what's worth my while. Bartering with you is most certainly not it. You're a swindler. You know it, I know it. Who's to say that you won't lie and trick me?" She asked, her distaste of him very apparent in her words as she flung them at him. "I have absolutely no reason to trust you. Even if you threaten my hostage-" She gestured towards the none too conscious Shadow. "-I doubt I'd fall for it. I'm pretty sure he was after this, so setting him loose isn't exactly a good idea. I don't care if he's dead or alive frankly, and neither does my client." Audra's eyes glinted fiercely. "So tell me Triton, what exactly do you have to barter with me for this which would be worth my while?" She asked, her expression hard and unmoving.
