Name: Kora Armante
Age: Unknown. 25
Birthplace: Midgar
Position: Ex-SOLDIER
Powers: Kora can summon a black wolf
Story: Kora was born one of Midgars orphans. She caught a break though when she turned 15. Shinra was looking for willing test subjects for a program of theirs. Kora thought it couldn't be worse than her life on the street. After the tests began, Kora was ordered to start training as a sniper. She picked up the skill rather quickly, in about 4 years. One day, she was pulled aside by Rufus so she could demonstrate her skills for possible financiers. The demo went as follows;
"Kora…would you mind coming and giving us a demonstration of your skills?" Rufus asked sweetly.
"Of course sir," Kora replied standing up and slinging her rifle over her shoulder.
They were taken to a rooftop with several targets below, to far to make them out with the naked eye.
"Well Kora…you may begin," Rufus said with a smirk.
Kora nodded and loaded her rifle, leaning against the edge of the rooftop.
She shot down two that were simple wolves, another that was a rabbit.
It wasn't until she saw the fourth one that she stopped.
In the field, was a little boy, about 8, looking around like he was lost.
"Well? What are you waiting for?"
"Sir…there's a child down there," Kora replied shakily.
Rufus hears this, but did his best not to loose his cool, "He's only got a few days to live. Type of cancer..."
"But sir-"
"Just take the shot," Rufus snapped growing impatient.
Kora froze for a moment, then closed her eyes as she took the shot, hoping to miss.
"Nicely done!" one of the sponsors cried with joy.
Kora looked, and to her dismay, the boy lay there, the puddle of blood growing beneath him.
"Well done Kora," Rufus said smiling.
Kora simply grabbed her gun and stormed off.
After that, she was never the same. She began to seclude herself more, she no longer went to the bar with Reno and Rude, nor did she hang out with Zack. Kora felt as if a small piece of humanity was torn from her heart. After Zack died though...Kora knew she couldn't pull a Cloud. She worked her way back into society and such making friends once more. Things were going good, until Sephiroth attacked again. Those with stigma were already suffering, now they had to worry about stopping Sephiroth's wave of death and destruction. Luckily, Cloud, with the help of ALL his friends, stopped Sephiroth. The lifestream must've seen this and taken away the stigma. It also gave back those that were wrongfully taken from them. Now, they live in a time of peace, for now.
