Let's say you turned off the Premium Sparkles option on you account preferences. Someone is offering you a WONDERFUL trade that, if played successfully, will make you rich! If played wrong, however, you will loose an insane amount of money, putting you at the financial status of "noob." How can you tell common scams apart? You can't, except through research and perseverence. This pop quiz is to test how well you know Gaia's items wink

Q.1 - Which one of these two items is a Sharktooth, worth 1.5mill?

If you're trying to cheat, don't bother. =) You're only hurting yourself. But if you took the quiz, highlight the following to find the answers:

Q.1 - Option B is a Sharktooth, and is worth over 1mill. The other is a Sharp Fish Teeth, worth only 1Ok.

Q.2 - Option B is a Winter Rose, and is worth over 2OOk. The other is a White Rose Wristlet Corsage, worth only 35Og.

Q.3 - Option A is a Scarlet Rose, and is worth over 15Ok. The other is a Rose Shower, worth only 5Ok.

Q.4 - Option B is a Cloud, and is worth over 5OOk. The other is an Aquarium Cloud 1, worth only 1Ok.

Q.4 - Option A is an Angelic Pendant, and is worth over 7mill. The other is a Marital Pendant, worth only 18k.

So how good did you do?

Just the Facts:

More expensive items typically have a smaller icon than the others.
New or inexperienced users who turn off the Premium Sparkles option are more likely to be involved in a trading scam.
Items with common shapes, such as stars, hearts, etc. as their icon are likely to have look-alike items since they are easy to make as graphics.
These are just the most common scams, not all of them.
Checking the item before finishing a trade, no matter how good it seems, is always worth the effort, just in case.

Mona's Potion (1.2Mill) // Gimpi (25Ok)
Dally's Fruit (3.5Mill) // Gogh Reed (1Mill)
Valentine's Hearts (1.3mill) // Giacomo's Charm (25Ok)
Baby Seal Slippers (2.3Mill) // Two Turtle Doves (75k)
Force A Nature (35Ok) // Blue Force A Nature (6Ok)

Me, too. xp That Angelic Pendant really got me there at the end, even though that would have been one of the worst scams ever if I had fallen for it. >.>

5/5 I have at least one of the items from all but shark teeth and that one I seen after the scam with carlos the alpaca. This was very helpful though I will be sure to watch out!!
