I think its time for a new game!
Look at the avatar above yours. What role would it fill in a video game. Would they be the hero? A mage of a certain color/type? Warrior? Beast tamer? Thief? Would they be a villain? A boss? A henchman? A shop keep?
I think I've listed enough options to give you an idea.

The "angel" type boss villain that you originally though was on your side until he started to try and kill you and your party.

Hm... You definatly seem like the main characters rival, who gave into darkness to gain power.
