Oh wise, grime-filled glass!
What wisdom you hold?
Be it now or past?
Tell your tale in mold!

If arcane wonder,
those spells I'll plunder
and if all is plain,
about life mundane:

I've wasted my time
on this stupid rhyme.

This one made me smile too. It's sometimes funny when people spend forever trying to find some magic meaning in the most random objects. When I was little I kept hoping that my book/toy/home would turn out to be magic.

This poem has a good concept, but the execution seems to be unfinished. I suggest removing your last stanza - it is completely irrelevant and unnecessary - then continue with your main idea.

Other than that, your diction and construction is well-done (disregarding the last stanza, of course).
