I remember you once saying that you son is on the bus with high schoolers and he was hearing some things. That's really weird that an elementary kid is on with high school kids...
I like your answers though XD I'll probably use them until our kids get older and start to realize that there is a bit more to that word.

Pandora the Wonderful They have to learn someday, it might be better just to have a little prior knowledge of the subject, should it come up. She'll want to learn as she gets older, and, while I don't agree with having play funerals for dolls, this is a show for children and they're probably trying to explain this in a way a child would understand. Like on Sesame Street, when mr. whatshisface dies, they have to explain it to Big-Bird I agree, and if all comes down to it, then all you have to do is just change the channel. But there will come a time when they want to know what's going on, especially if there is a death in the family.

Aakosir So holy crap... Yesterday I got a free trial of Netflix. We watched The Princess and the Frog, Cats Don't Dance, The Swan Princess and Anastasia. Today we are watching Up and probably a few more.
But holy crap! Every show has had death in it! The Shadowman steps on the firefly, Ray. Rasputin turns to dust infront of Anastasia after he's killed all of the family, Odete's father dies, then Derek kills the Great Beast, and Ellie dies in Up... Surprisingly no one dies in Cats Don't Dance. But wow, I never realized how much death in in kids' shows.
I guess she's going to be asking when she finally gets a hold of some sort of concept. that firefly that dies in The Princess and the Frog always makes me sbiffle cry

but you are so right about Shadowman, he could well be the scariest Disney villain ever!
