Josh smiled, some of the tension releasing. "Don't even get me thinking on that, fangirls... that's something crazy. Man there will be creepy oldfolk trying to get with me and guuuh." Josh gave a heebie-jeebie shiver, scrunching his nose.
"And you're silly, I don't need to make shirts, s'not like the 'Sluts don't already have tons of merch. But like, yeah, we still need to... do that thrift shop thing. We'll find some cheap white shirts and spray 'em, graffitti 'em up, sometime." Josh smiled more, sliding his fingers through Godfrey's hair.
"We'll still have fun together. I'm really feeling all this... like I said, just nervousness right now and so yeah. It will be nice to just have to worry about one thing, like I mean, concentrate on practicing the music. Plus like getting to know the band is sorta weird on it's own... a good weird, but still." He shut his mouth so he didn't go off on more of a band tangent.

"I bet Reg and them will keep all the creepers off of you. Reg wanted you so much, he'd be-..... he'll watch out for you." Protective claws unsheathed momentarily before retracting. Never give any indication to your prey that you were going to pounce until the very last moment.
"You'll make me some? Really?? Your shirts are awesome, that's why I said you should make some. They can always duplicate them.... or sell them as Josh originals? Everyone will be jealous."
Godfrey slid his fingers through Josh's hair in turn, lightly scratching his scalp with his nails and making sure to get all Josh's good spots. Despite his assurances that it was okay he couldn't help but sit close and touch all those odd spots on Josh that made him relaxed and content, like magic buttons. He knew Josh's quirks well enough to know where to press.
But he didn't press certain others, content just to sit with him and memorize his softer triggers, to get them deep in his head so he would never forget.
"They're your new dorm mates, the Coverslut house. And Reg's your den mother. Suppose I'll be seeing a bit of them too..." Godfrey paused, pulling back to let Josh see the small, teasing smile on his face. " Especially the drummer, Angelo....hm..... maybe we could have a sleepover there sometime."
And Godfrey would fall asleep tonight, and some nights after, wearing nothing but socks on his feet. Because when he shifted his legs beneath the blanket and the cloth rubbed softly against his ankles and calves, it would remind him of Josh.

Josh leaned into the petting like a dog. He might as well be flailing his leg about like one too, his enjoyment for petting was so strong. He could only stop to talk when Godfrey stopped, shivering a bit with pleasure. "Hm. 'Course I'll make you some, ha. They're just shirts haha, it's no big deal. Not like I'm an artist with them or anything, stenciling is easy. Kinda makes me think, like, how much work graffiti artists must really go through. Always loved graffiti and such."
Josh pulled back a bit, his hand on Godfrey's face, lightly stroking his cheek with a thumb. "Definitely, sleepover would be rad. S'not like 'Lo really sleeps at night though. Much easier to sneak up on him in the day but... yeah, I haven't, I mean, don't want a vampire pissed off at me." Josh stared at Godfrey, thinking. "So should we... I mean, do you wanna just like, hang out today still? Walk around and just do whatever?"

Godfrey nuzzled his cheek lightly against Josh's hand, very dog-like himself. He closed his eyes for a moment but they snapped open at Josh's suggestion of spending the day together. A grin spread over his face and he leaned forward, giving Josh a playful eskimo kiss.
"Hell yeah I want to hang out! Let's go get banned from a store and play stop and go light tag and pig out on bakery sweets and pretend we're Americans and talk to American tourists in butchered southern accents and buy something weird like a funny hat or gigantic piece of jewelry! Actually I want to get you something cool you could wear to shows, a bracelette or something!"
Godfrey threw himself at Josh, hugging him enthusiastically and basically letting the other boy hold him up since he had taken his eet off the ground in his glee.
"Come on, Josh! Grab your stuff and let's go!" Godfrey flung himself away as fast as he had flung himself towards Josh, grabbing what was left of his soda and sandwich. He took another big bite and fidgeted on his feet impatiently, staring at Josh with literally buckets full of mischievousness and excitement.

Josh eskimo kissed back, scrunching his nose up with a laugh. "Great, then. Didn't really plan anything today beyond, well, seeing you obviously, and yeah, wasn't sure... how that all was gunna go but. Well yeah, you know, get what I'm saying."
Josh drank down the rest of his Pepsi, sucking on the straw well after all the liquid was gone, sure to make that annoying sound of straw slurping air. He stood up, crushing the cup in his hand and grabbing his sandwich wrapper off the table, squishing that up, too. He tossed them in the nearby trash just in time to catch Godfrey. "Oof~"
"I'm going already, 'Frey, I'm going. Heh. Let's just head..." He looked in both directions, pondering which stores were where. "That way~! And see what we can get into, yeah?"

"It's only the best kind of trouble when it's the two of us." Godfrey grinned, trotting down the street after Josh. "We'll make this one of the best days ever, definitely."
