This is the idea for a new, multi-thread RP I'm planning for this guild. A book I was recently reading (T.A. Baron's "The Great Tree of Avalon: Shadow on the Stars") gave me the last ideas I needed to piece this together.
The Concept
There are many worlds, all of which are connected. The passages are the stars, which are normally ingulfed in intense flames so that none may pass. But when a star goes out, one may pass through the gates with ease.
One world, the fabled Avalon, contains gates to every world. Avalon will act as the hub for the RP. Each other thread will be one of the worlds (kind of Kingdom Hearts esque). The most invoative part of the RP, is the world rules system.
World Rules System
In each world, as you've seen in games, anime, shows, etc. many laws of nature itself our different. For instance, a character from DBZ would not fit in the Matrix. When arriving in a new world, one's body automatically adapts to the rules of that world. For example, a charcter from FF (let's use Auron) were to set foot on Zion (The thread for the matrix world), he would magically acquire the plugs needed to enter the matrix. Nowever, since there is no magic on Zion, he would lose his spells.
The possibilties are endless for this RP.

Here is a tentitive list of "worlds" to begin with. After the initial world's are established, I will add a sticky that will be a place where can suggest new world's there, and those world's will go into a poll, and the winner of the poll will be introduced to the RP.
Zion and Zero One (From the Matrix Universe)
A Final Fantasy World (Vote in the new poll)
Planet Gunsmoke (From Trigun)
Corusaunt (Star Wars)
Matri (If it's OK with Ermak)

There is only one problem with the Matri part. ALL forms of magic/technology/force/psychic powers work there, the infamous world of Matri can accomidate any of the other worlds powers. ((Have you checked out Chaosflow yet?)) however if you wish me to open up a Matri thread I can do that.. wink just don't blame me if it either becomes popular or scares people away... xd xd

Well, I suppose that we can't have a seperate system for ALL the worlds. It would be simple enough to simply allow that world to have all characters at the natural powers, without interference from the Rules system. Or, we could make Matri the hub, instead of Avalon...

I actually wanted to go through the fight between Sepiroth and Cloud in AC and edit in Lightsabers, but my home computer is to slow to even play video. gonk Ouch. That would be so cool, though! And plausible. Can't you just see it as a Jedi battle.... Except, you wouldn't have Sephy claiming to be Cloud's father. BUT you could have Vincent claiming to be Sephy's father! (as it's quite possible...)

Well, the core world; Matri has been opened, and Corusaunt will be opened today. Radiant Garden (Hollow Bastion) will be created when I return from Spring break, followed by another world, but that's my little secret...

OK, within the next hour I will be creating two more world threads. However, you'll probably have to wait until tomorrow to start playing them, as I have to establish the rules for them, which I just don't quite have time to type today.
Please also participate in the new poll to determine the next world to add.
