Later this month I believe. I remember at one of the dev meats JK asked if we wanted a set date every month when they would come out and someone suggested the 15th like the collectibles, but I'm not sure what they decided.
Anyway, at the meat last night, JK stated that a new feature will be added to the buddies on Monday. c:

No, lol. Well, on the fighting side anyway, there's really not need for it. If you have the right rings and a crew with half a brain, zOMG is a walk in the park. It would, however, be AWESOME if buddies could basically spam diagnose rofl

I agree they should, cause it would be pointless in having a pet if they can't do anything.

I'd love to have them do either of those things.
Or if they could give you random full rage buffs that would be cool too.
Really anything like that would be fun.
