Powers:
Shadow Manipulation - The Greatsword of the Ages has imparted this Power upon Daniel, allowing him to control the Shadows around him, including those of other people. He can move from shadow to shadow because of the extensive use he's practised upon this Power.
Soul Leech - Because of the slaying of his mother and sister, whenever Daniel kills anything, he leeches the soul from the dead being, and in turn regains lost health. The amount of health regained varies on the being.
Dread Howl - The Greatsword of the Ages lets out a horrifying shriek, drawing all evil to it, and shocking good things nearby. The amount of time shocked varies based on the amount of power the good being has.
Skills:
Sword Master - Daniel has practised with the Greatsword and uses it with either one or two hands. He is deadly with it to most humans, but is on par with many Yokai.
Shadowmeld - Daniel, in his black armor, can blend with shadows easily at night, and may disappear from sight randomly, even if he's not trying.
Bloodlust - Daniel goes into a rage when he fights, sometimes attacking those that are on his side. This is considered a blessing to him, but a curse to others.

Bio: Daniel was mistreated as a child, so he grew up hating everything around him, whether or not it was benevolent to him. His sister, he saw as the "parents' princess", and his parents were evil to him completely. So, when he grew older, he asked for one thing, which was to be trained as a swordsman. His parents saw it as him getting away from them for longer, so they readily accepted. A couple of years after that, when Daniel had trained enough to finally call himself a Knight, he was supposed to be knighted when he showed up, blood all over himself, and his blade. He explained that his father, along numerous other people were dead, dropped the bloody sword, and walked out. He stole a sword from a smith, who he killed, and then left as a vagabond knight. Eventually, he heard a voice in his head, beckoning him. He followed it, and it brought him to an altar with a sword lying on it. He also saw that it had summoned his mother and sister, who cowered in fear of him. He picked up the large sword and killed each of them on the spot, and then he dropped for a moment... Then he rose, in new life, in new armor, and with a new "ally". The Greatsword of the Ages had chosen him to do the evil that was required. It led him around the world, killing, and training, until he found where the Yokai were. He immediately pledged himself to the leader of the evil Kaosu Yokai, who simply wanted to use the humans as food, which was close enough to bloodshed and murder for Daniel to pick their side.
