Sara was primarily a healer, it was the subject she was doing the best in throughout her training. Yet she was still very much a rookie and even though she could handle small wounds and bruises anything life threatening was way out of her league. She wanted to get better so she could help people, she was not a strong fighter and at this point in time she did not want to be. Instead she wanted to heal those affected by the fighting. Surprisingly it was not because she was anti-conflict that she avoided battles, she was terrified of them. If someone wanted to cause her hurt she would not know what to do, all of it was just too dangerous for her taste. She was not proud of the fact; she hated the idea of others risking their lives to protect her. She just... fear was a hard thing to conquer.
She had been attending the academy for a couple of weeks now and was settling into the routine, even though she did not have many close friends she knew the names of others there and people knew her. She was after all unusual; she was from outside the city and training to be a soul conduit, rumours spread through school like wild fire. So it would not surprise her if people knew of her and her abilities. After all you did not have to be close to recognize someone who studies in the same place as you, right?
Sara was on her way home, her scrolls in a bag by her side, it was not a long walk however she did not rush it, she would rather enjoy the sights; this pace was still new to her after all. Her pale eyes scanned the faces of the crowd and the many traders on the street, something that did leap out to her was how finely dressed everyone seemed to be. Back home on the farm her clothes were mainly brown and patched up, she had been gifted new ones when she came here and she still could not get used to wearing such fine things. She was blessed but still felt bad her family could not be here to share her new life. However this is what they wanted for her...
She sighed, she would write to them as soon as she could and send the money she had collected! She gave a determined nod to herself and looked up at the sky. Wondering what today was bring her, she had to admit, things here happened very unexpectedly. The few people she had met she did so quite randomly, it was exciting! Maybe Hua would let her go out to explore some more... after her homework and prayers of course.
